on a greataxe / split damage weapon, maybe. Most other raw weapons barely break 300ar

I'd imagine it's to benefit low level playground or peeps that go all in to one stat. Some weapons definitely benefit from Raw but there's a good portion towards the end-game that end up dealing more damage with scaling even at base stats and can be augmented further with the four Pillar rings and whatever Infusion. I know for me that Raw has been invaluable early game for my magic playthroughs.
I have no problem with them nerfing RKPGS, that weapon really needed it, but was it really necessary nerfing Spears of the Church? Their health already melts fast enough as it is when it's against a 1v3 or 1v4.
Is it just me, or is literally everybody using the goddamn Ringed Dual Greatswords? I've just gone into 5 separate duel matches and every single one of my opponents has been using these swords.
2 invaders in the Ringed City were wielding them in my game. Boy they love doing that wind up attack. It's like if a guy were to do a slow wind up before a punch going "Here it comes! Look out now! Here comes the punch!"
The dual greatswords are fun when you have an ultra greatsword with stomp. Just stomp through their combo, then launch them up into the air. Works every time.
It's good on low level invasions that want to go for heavy weapons/armor.
Me and my brother used to run a Smough & Ornstein Dried Finger gankspank and the 15 extra levels were very helpful. (this was like 8 months ago)
if havals doesn't help I can see how it'd be needed. Heavy gear can be a bitch

Tbh raw could always use a buff since it IS good for really low level builds
Hope buffs to crystal and lightning infusions means they're not gonna completely destroy base physical damage for mediocre INT/FTH scaling.
Doing SL1 for the dlc's made me realize how broken the animations are for the small wolves. It's like they have no startup or recovery so their attacks will kill you right as they start to move.
And they can jump through the fucking pillars in the gravetenders boss fight, what.
fight club when :v:
giant door shield 3v3 brawl please
also the [sp]ringed knight paired greatswords and the spears of the church boss[/sp] got nerfed, fuck my life

[sp]I just got summoned for it, and noticed that the one enemy will cast a healing miracle, which I assume could be easily used if there's enough distraction to replenish their health. Also, players are way smarter than NPCs so it would be tougher in a 1v1 or 2v2. Still though, the current fight I was in seemed fair enough. It's not supposed to be an impossible fight, especially if the skill difference is high[/sp]
I will forever and always love the fuck out of the quakestone hammer
just what a god damn master-piece
hello asshole with rock on stick coming through

A well timed smash + heavy is a god damned amazing thing
Haven't touched Dark Souls 3 since release day (and didn't get much further than Abyss Watchers), anything super important I should know across the patches besides the poise changes?

Grand Lance is good now, there's Ember symbols in the Warp menu showing where online activity is, Infusions got a balance workaround and are about to get more.

And thus, a new journey of stupidity begins. Things were going well until I got overconfident against one of the oily snake exploders and had my orifices thoroughly examined.

Finally my Oscar build will be put to good use
I just beat SotFS and I gotta say...I think it's the weakest of all the soulsborne games. sure everyone has been saying that for years but now I know it first hand.
Ok, so, when I first played DSIII, I remember getting my ass handed to me constantly and having a [sp]really[/sp] salty time.

I already tore through Vordt on my first try unembered and with a single sippy after I caught his mace with my teeth. I actually had a harder time with the very first boss and died twice there because I forgot the controls and dodge windows.
Is the club just OP or something and I never knew?
My only other explanation is that I've finally wiggled out of the "cautious and study things" mindset from 1/2 and opted for a "smash it (very quickly) with a hammer" approach to everything - and its working. Like if something is scary, instead of watching it or carefully dancing around attacks, I just run in and beat it with a club until it stops moving. v:v:v
i feel like the best question to ask currently is, how on earth did somebody manage to figure out doing all of those random unrelated things allowed you to walk through boss doors?
Here's another, shall we say, interesting video from the most famous Italian Dark Souls YouTuber. Be sure to activate the subtitles.
(The main pun of the video can't be translated properly in English. Basically, "Tra di noi" is the Italian expression for "Among us", and sounds very similar to "Draghi noi", Italian for "Us dragons")

You can thank me later, Nidhogg
Already seen it, but it's very entertaining nevertheless. :v:
I've cleared every boss in the DLC so far but I am still stuck on [sp]Midir[/sp] I've no clue how you're supposed to do this without cheesing it.
[sp]He literally sits still for such a short period of time, I can barely get close and when I do I can get maybe one hit in every now and then and my damage is horrible against his resistances. The lowest I've gotten him to was maybe 80% health? I've seen people saying pestilent mercury works wonders, but I don't want to cheese the fight.[/sp]
Currently I'm on my purely PvE character who is just under level 400 I can wield any weapon in the game with my stats but I'm not built for spells or miracles.
I've been using Yhorm's Greatshield paired with the Dragonslayer Greataxe/Dragonslayer Spear.
Should I try with a different weapon and if so do you guys have any recommendations?
It's funny how anyone using the Door Shield just panics immediately the moment they see me pull out an Estoc. :v:
I wish From would at least try to make the r1/r2 movesets at least different. Ledo greathammer r2 is the only thing different i can remember since it's unique to it.
Rest is just 'hey it's a new weapon art which also requires fp'.
The new greatsword is an example of that. Maybe i'm just bummed there will never be a Loyce Greatsword ever...
Edit: Forgot that a new halberd uses the Great Club R2 for 1 and 2 hand. I love it :v:
If you ask me, [sp]nerfing the Spear of the Church if you are summoned against more than one player doesn't have any sense at all[/sp].
It's not like I already have to keep at bay two or three people at the same time
miyazaki hates dragons, all i wanted was a good dragon form
