I finally got around to beating this game after stopping at the Twin Princes last summer. I did Nameless King's fight before Soul of Cinder and felt kind of underwhelmed after NK's fight. Looking forward to the DLC.
You all think dual UGS and dual greatshields were cool

Weird how similar first time DS3 is to first time anal sex for me. At first, you're clumsy as hell, it's uncomfortable and unnatural every step of the way, you know​ what you should be doing but it's not working out and all of that frustrates the heck out of you.
But then you get past the adjustment period and everything starts going smooth as a butter. Few bumps there and there but overall a pleasurable experience.

Jokes aside, I'm quite satisfied with the significantly faster combat which forced me to abandon my awful DS1 habit of hiding behind a shield and go full dodge-roll mode.
It makes the combat also much more satisfying because after perfectly dodging four consecutive swings in a row and finishing the boss with last bit of stamina makes you feel quite great, especially as a first-timer.

If you don't think the RKPGS is the most bombtastic weapon in the whole game, you're fucking wrong boyo
being massively overleveled and cooping with <100 levelers feels just amazing tbh
you can afford to heal everyone they summon, take more hits than anyone, even deal more damage

Not only that but having the highest possible defense/absorb, regenerative shield+ring, tears of denial, etc
all you need to worry about is specializing in melee and healing

What's a good DEX (yes, I know, shut up) weapon that works with simple knight aesthetics? To my surprise, Longsword has better STR scaling so I'm currently sticking with Broadsword since the katana is kinda meh.

Now that the pickaxe can't be parried what's the point of all the other weapons
I heard one of the recent patches improved heavy armors, did it make any difference or is it the usual balancing that changes a few numbers around and doesn't actually improve anything?
They weigh slightly less and give more damage absorption now. I've noticed a significant increase in people wearing pieces of Morne's set now because of it. :v:

It's the shortest heavy weapon so you're having more problems hitting and with spacing plus the moveset is really not that great.
It's a trade weapon.
Yeah but meta weapons are for filthy casuals, peasant cosplays are the real endgame

A Sharp infused Scimitar, or try the Lothric Knight Sword.

Hyper Armor is what the community calls it. You have to be in the middle of a swing before being able to tank an attack. It also depends on your weapon.

How the heck do you get the gold badge in Undead Arena? I've probably racked 30 hours and I'm going hollow soon but I'm still stuck on silver
Pretty sure I have more than 35 victories if wiki is accurate

Did you lose some? It felt forever to get gold in duels but i heard losses matter in duel. It was so fast with Brawls, in Duel it took me about 5 hours or so.
