If you're interested in the other exclusives I'd say go for it. For me personally, Bloodborne, The Last of Us Remastered, and The Last Guardian made the console worth it for me.
Looks like DS3's servers are down for maintenance before the patch. Update is expected to drop in about another 6-7 hours.

one of my sticks has a little bit of scuff on it from usage because i dont break my things when i get annoyed

I bought a brand spanking new XB1 controller last month to replace my failing XB360 controller, and I already put a deep gash into the right side of it by accidentally dropping it. :v:
From a quick look, it seems simple/blessed weapons got a pretty great buff and they work best for weapons with good scaling
For example on my current faith build(minimal str/dex investment), a blessed caestus (S scaling!) has 60 more physical attack compared to a regular while a pickaxe does only slightly less damage (C strength, A faith)

Well, time to go make boxing priest.
I will not break a ps4 controller but boy my hands feel tired when you're legit pissed/stressed.
Servers are up and update is out.
And the first thing I'm immediately noticing are Darkmoons up the fucking ass. This is going to be hell for invaders now.
How is the pike tracking now? I don't expect a Maldron tracking but at least similar to the giant doors
Great hammers are awesome in PvE, but I haven't mastered their use against players yet. Last couple of invasions against me went sideways, but I at least managed to turn them into honorable duels before getting butchered.
After leveling strength to 50, I upgraded the FUGS and gave it a whirl. It does less damage at upgrade level 3 and strength level 50 than my great club does at upgrade level 7 and strength level 40. :suicide:
While I didn't -totally- deplete my twinkling titanite reserves, this has been a valuable (and expensive) learning experience.

Nope, tracking still sucks. :v:
It IS noticeably better tracking if you're attacking right infront of their face and they roll behind, as the attack will actually pivot 180 to hit them. But that's it. The running attacks still miss half the time.

Apparently yeah. Not by much but should still be there. Not as insane as i thought :v:
Also they weren't joking about the eye ring buff. It only takes 2 hits to proc the boost (using 2handed greatlance)

I'm getting this [b]really[/b] annoying bug where the game locks up for a second or two every time I open or close a menu in-game. I can't tell if it's because the game is having trouble overwriting the save file every time or if it's something else.
And while these lock ups are usually only for a second or two, this recent one was so bad it completely froze my entire computer and I had to shut it down manually.
I wish Midir and Gael weren't a fucking nightmare are my NG+ level because of how terribly hard phantoms are to find
I mean shit I don't have issue with any other boss, many I can solo just fine
I mean I plan doing it on lower level characters if I can as well but aaaaaa

The worst part is I keep summoning people who are just fucking amazing with the boss
but then I get fucked even though I have tons of estus left, or they die :v:
I remember Gael killed me with some move that tanked through my heath + armor in one hit :v: I have at min 38 with heavy armor + armor ring

I've seen some pictures of weapons getting insane scaling bonuses
Prisoner's Chain is super good now. It only give 3% damage penalty for both PvE and PvP.
