After I got my ps4 I used the dualshock 4 and never looked back.
I know im a little late with this, but because of the stick layout on the Dualshock, when I was playing Bloodborne I constantly had to reposition my thumb on the left stick because it would keep slipping off while I pushed it forward. Its not an issue on an Xbox controller since my thumb just goes straight forward instead of having to push the stick with the side of my thumb like on a Dualshock.
Could just be an issue with me or because I have large hands, but its definitely an issue and it makes me prefer the Xbox controller way more.
Playing pyromancer in TRC is a blessing and a mistake
First boss took me about 10/15 minutes first try but damn my dark/chaos caestus barely did much damage
Just had my xbone controller battery die on the pendulum bridge in Sen's fortress, that lightning caster had a field day.
Handy tip if you're playing on Xbone, if your batteries die, just turn off the console. When you put in some fresh ones/recharge, turn it back on and you'll be right back where you were.

Actually maybe not, if you were doing a backward compatible game it might not work that way

Seen this yet? Looks like it could be Souls related.
I doubt it, the credits in the description don't sound like anyone working at From, and the overall style is very different from what we've come to expect from them.

You will never know. From did make Metal Wolf Chaos :v:
Didn't they say they didn't want to work with bamco again?
I'm placing my bets on this thing being to Bloodborne what Dark Souls was to Demon's.
I mean everything about that trailer can be correlated to a key element of Bloodborne. I mean, that weapon being used is not exactly far off from the Rifle Spear.
Never mind that this is exactly two weeks after The Ringed City came out. Also, the "Suggested Video" card this teaser brings up is a trailer for The Ringed City.

Not heard that at all.
In fact, considering neither FROM nor Kadokawa has a western division of their own, there's no reason for them to not work with Namco for western localization.
I mean, otherwise, if Namco is making a game without FROM that seems to be copying Bloodborne and using a marketing tagline invoking Dark Souls, well... Then there's going to be hell to pay on their side.

I think it's absolutely certain that this is going to be a Soulslike.
The real question, however, is it a FROM game? And if so, is it a Miyazaki-directed one?
I feel like if From was involved they would've been credited in some way in the trailer. It could be that they're waiting until E3 to announce that it's their new title, but it could also be something a separate studio made that Namco is publishing just to keep Souls fans with them
After being presented with some Alternative Facts, I'm leaning towards there being a chance this is Bandai-Namco Europe overstepping their bounds and this has nothing to do with anything Souls related.
The one BNEurope released is the ONLY version of this teaser to have the "Prepare to Dine" tagline in it. The other regions' versions released outright don't have a tagline in them at all.

The teaser released in other regions doesn't have the PTD tagline, but instead the date "April 20th", so whatever's being teased here is being announced much sooner than E3.
TBH it still looks interesting ether way.
I just started my first foray into the Ringed City and got to the twin demons. I decided to roll a quality build with Valorheart because my cousin said 2 handed STR weapons were "easy mode".
[sp]I beat them both in about three tries and felt really good about winning.
Then he got back up.
Come on man.[/sp]

In my own limited opinion so far, 1-handed Longswords (especially Lothric) are the true easy-mode in Dark Souls III.
They do reliable damage in broad strokes and don't use much stamina. And on enemies that can be as goofily stumbled about with light hits like the player can, you can just mash light attack on them and get in like 10+ hits without retaliation.

After about my 11th try on the boss I said fuck it and went back to my strength build. Won the fight 5 tries later.

If they're copying Bloodborne, then yeah there might be a Sony issue. However, taking something from Dark Souls is perfectly fine since it's Namco's IP and they do what they want. FromSoftware were the developers for it, but it's Namco's product in the end.
Like with Konami and Metal Gear.

So far, my toolkit on a generic 40/40 split has been:
Refined Lothric Knight Sword - Basically everything.
Black Knight Sword - Bosses where it's more about sneaking singular damaging hits and less about raw DPS.
Gargoyle Flame Spear - For and only for cheesing NPC invasions when they have huge weapons.
I really haven't used anything else. v:v:v

Nope.
Dark Souls is entirely FROM's property.
Namco's role in the series is localization.
Like, maybe they own the rights to the series outside of Japan, but inside of Japan itself, FROM is king of the Souls castle.

Either way I've found my use out of this teaser.

idk what it is about the DS4 but it just doesn't feel as good in my hands as the DS3.
[editline]a[/editline]
nearly every fucking play session: "you lack the license for this DLC". it never happens in DLC areas for me though, only areas that are part of the base game. why is this shit not fucking fixed yet.
Took exactly one stab at [sp]Minir[/sp] before deciding it wasn't worth the effort and wrapped up the game. v:v:v
After the Ringed City, the actual final boss was a real pushover.
I thought they made it so you couldn't resummon people if they died when there's an invader present. I just fought a dude who kept summoning the same 2 guys over and over.

that comes with the patch on the 14th to my knowledge
Too many patches for my shit brain to remember.
I feel like a huge casual when I just beat bosses like [sp]Midir[/sp] with phantoms with one try
that comes with the patch on the 14th to my knowledge
You sure about that? 'Cuz some of the patch changes such as reduced effectiveness of Giant Seeds are present right now, and I know for sure those were on the same patch notes as the summoning nerf.
Some people are saying that you can't resummon the same person as listed with the changes but apparently it's instant to a different person.
Really haven't found any host summon panicking yet, so should test
So im falling in love with the Drakeblood greatsword. R2's are soo good for roll catching and stopping r1 spam.

lmao imagine the trickshots
I don't actually like the new arena map all that much. I don't think a flat open space really works all that well for brawls/ coop matches. It's fine for 1v1's though, I guess.

I would love to know how you managed to do that
I've been doing a lot of co-op at Midir lately while wearing the full dragonslayer set and wielding a spear, and I just helped a guy beat him. Afterwards, he sent me a Steam message:

(My characters name is Jetstream Sam, that's why he called me Dragonslayer Jetstream)
When you finally git gud :v:
