He was a mage, after all, and that's all Sorcerer gear. (Sorcerer Gloves, Hood, Leggings, and Clandestine Shirt which is just the Sorcerer Shirt minus the massive Jedi cloak) Tempted to make a magic build with that gear.

It gets better once you jump down a bit.

Are hackers still a huge problem for the PC version (DSIII)?

playing ds3 on my computer and it's locked at a silky smooth all over the fucking place anything I can do to make it better? I've tried toying with the settings till I'm blue in the face. fx6300 asus gtx 970 strix 8gb ddr3 ram getting dips down to low forties, I think the lowest was down to 38.

You might need to lower the resolution. Idk that cpu may be holding you back.

I have similar specs and I find the game runs great up until you use a resolution greater than 1080p. At 1080p though I can even run a reshade preset over it and still rarely dip under 60fps.

Crow of Cainhurst was frustrating as fuck. Took more attempts to kill him than any actual boss by far. I pumped oodles of levels into health and he still blew massive chunks away with each shot. Ended up bludgeoning him to death with the standard form of the whirligig saw. If he were just stuck using melee, it would be a joke. But he gets a ranged attack more potent than my upgraded cannon. :why: Also, why are the formless oedon runes so out of the way? For something so useful, I practically need to screw over half of the friendly NPCs in the game or go chalice dungeon diving in the depths of hell.

i don't like to bitch about weapons but am I the only one thinking that the new lightning arrow miracle needs some sort of slight nerf? the damage is alright, but there's something about just how much it can get spammed downrange idk I feel like that's all that any faith user kills me with anymore. I'm not seeing lightning stake anywhere near as much

All miracles except lighting arrows are mostly used for bait so you can use the talisman weapon art and trade. Sadly PvP wise, it's so boring. There's no real offense in your spells so you have to hope the player just trade. If he's defensive, you can use a healing spell but then again, i won't blame people playing defensively because it's not as fun as it looks fighting casters. I enjoy using them PvE wise but on PvP, i fall asleep using those, it's worse than chess.

are there any decent ways to counter it? the people I've fought with it all seem to have pretty significant poise while holding an arrow up, forcing me to trade a hit with them if I want to. which is foolish, because theirs hits harder and they can immediately spam a second one while i'm in a stagger animation and prep it for the next shot to be released the second i can take damage again. additionally I can't punish with any of my pyromancy at range because i basically have to pre-empt their attack completely to land a chaos bed vestiges at their location before they can release the arrow and roll. No point on using pyromancy at range against the arrow, it comes and runs faster than a vestiges, i encourage having Great Combustion\Black Flame for the DLC pyro hand so they stop harassing with arrows. The combustion is fast and it'd be better with the dlc glove with additional damage.
