They're usually a very short hike from one another.

The sword form of the cane has it as well.

I used it to take down most of the Cleric Beast and to finish off Father Gascoigne once he turned into his final form.

You end up fighting less beasts later on, though.

okay on second thought this is fucking buggy as hell camera won't stop spinning when I have my controller in i tried using the mods on the forum and now the screen in-game is bugged i also tried using kb+m but the setup for hotkeys is fucking awful perhaps i'd be better off just trying to resume on my friend's xbox and refunding this

Did you turn off motion blur and aa ingame?

For best perfomance unlock the FPS cap and set it to 30 fps, disable motion blur, is all in the .ini file. If you want to play with keyboard and mouse you will need the mouse fix. And if you planning to play with someone get the connectivity mod. This is a horrible port, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this game on your computer.

It was just so perfect after a bit of tweaking. If you aren't mod-savvy you may have incorrectly configured them.. Also, do you possibly have more than one controller plugged into your PC? An old joystick or some such?

If it was the ds4 then steam probably set it up as a steam controller and it defaulted to really wonky controls. I had to disable that feature on steam.
