Wasn't Demon's Souls being ported to PC by a group of people? Or emulated? I remember someone here posted news or something about that and they had made incredible progress. IIRC they already had it working on PC even they just had to iron out some kinks. They even had videos of it in action. Wonder what happened to that. Maybe they got a cease-and-desist since I can't find anything on it anymore. Come to think of it are we even allowed to talk about this?

Demon's Souls came in the mail today. I'm actually surprised it isn't as clunky as I thought it was going to be, but I guess it helps I was playing a bit of Dark Souls earlier. In some ways I think the atmosphere feels a little more mysterious at times than Dark Souls, but then again I haven't really progressed that far yet.

how long does it take to get 50 loyce souls? because it feels like approximately my lifespan

It just got really boring to look at because it was mostly just blackness. It really doesn't help the level design either.

Speaking as somebody who has only ever seen videos of DeS, I can't help but feel some of the animations look nicer in that game than the ones used in Dark-Souls... Seeing as they recycled so many assets from it, it makes me wonder why they went to the trouble of making new animations for a lot of things. Glad to see that the RPCS3 thing is starting to work, though. Would be cool to play it on PC, and cooler still to be able to get online in that. Although I have no idea how they'd hook up the online functionality.

My 2TB Drive failed on my PC, lost my DS3 save, there goes my 56 hour save. I'm going to have to go properly ham and do HDD recovery to get my DS3 save. The sweat is real gents. Every time I drop my 2TB drive, the sound *I'm Sorrrrrry* comes from it. Why the fuck did they remove cloud saves from DS3 if DS2 had it?

Oh shit no, you're right actaully but I got fucking lucky, My DS3 and DS2 were saved on that 2TB drive, but I never played it on that 7200RPM pile of shite. I played it off my SSD so all the save game data is under my name on my SSD. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner boys.

anyone know if lothric greatsword scales better with a dex build and sharp or a str build and heavy? on top of that whats some other good weapons for both paths im looking to do some faith stuff and idk which melee damage stat to use going for sl130 btw because the char im doing it on is 130

It'd probably be better to go for the heavy version and save a few levels on another stat.

Everything I need is backed up but for some reason I thought DS used cloud saves (Why don't they support it anyway their saves are like 8MB). Interesting Backup solution there though, I can see a few clients that could benefit off it. Currently getting my ass handed to me on NG+2 at Catacombs of Carthus now!

Yup, just found out it's precisely this: C:\Users\pc name\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsIII
