Once I've got 50 million I have the option to go the building.
I've also beaten the game, it was fun.
I don't think money is the only prerequisite. There's gotta be something else.
Publisher wanted a Vampire/Adventure game aimed for young people.
Okay let's go. Spend loads of money on a new engine. Market it a lot.
End up flopping getting a whopping ~3 in scores.
also, for some reason 3d advancements arent showing up, im still stuck on v1 for christs sake. anyone know how i can atleast mod in the higher ones

You need to level up 3D lvl 1 to get lvl 2 and so on. I think the next iteration unlocks at either level 3 or 4.
Did anyone get to meet Dave Johnson and have one of his explosive barrels be put inside the game?

Wait how does she know what my legal department advised me wtf
Btw, whats the requirements for the last office/building ??
100k+ fans and enough (10M+ I think) cash. The office itself costs 8M.
guys help. Im stuck on the g3 conference results page. My friend tells me he had an "x" appear but for me it is not happening. I should also mention I am using the mac version of the game if that clears anything up.
Wish there was more of an endgame challenge. Swimming in 700 mil with nothing to really spend it on. (without cheats)
never have I thought making 200 million for each game would be so boring. :v:
Man, when I make games, their success seems so random.
Like, I made a game in year 1 that was a space simulation that got 9.75, and made $1.1M. I tried to basically make the same kind of thing in year 10 (about the same slider bar settings, but with way more features from the engine)
Less than 30k sales, 3-4 ratings across the board.
Did the fundamentals of space simulation games change or something?
I've been playing this game for months now, thanks to the windows 8 app. I had a lot of trouble getting past the first office change, I had several companies that went bankrupt, and would continue to try to restart levels once I went bankrupt.
Finally I decided to start fresh, and with one company I sped through the first office move with ease. I've been playing that one for a long time, beat the game (can't remember which year) and continue to go on there every once in awhile. My biggest success has been a series which I call the "Light Forest" series which is a Fantasy/RPG, it was one of the first games I released when I moved into my new office and I've released about 10 sequels for it. All of them have gotten an average of between 8-9.75, except the latest one which was a 7 :(

This is where I'm at, cheat free, and I'm proud of my little company.
HOWEVER, since this I have not been able to make a successful company! I saw this thread had been bumped about a week ago and decided to start playing it again, and each new company has been a massive failure :P
I think luck has a ton to do with each success, however I've gotten my most successful games out of the RPG genre. As someone mentioned before, when the Gameling is released, make a new engine packed with everything you've researched and release an RPG on it quickly (with a Y rating), and you're pretty much guaranteed success.
Action games for me have been hit or miss. One game it'll be a 9.75, then a couple years down the road, with the same slider settings, it'll be a 5. I don't quite get it.
Tell me your secrets.
I hate how random the game is with what genres match other themes, so ill admit I looked at the wiki
Is it considered cheating?

I would call it..."Market research"
I've found it pretty common sense.
I've practically never gotten a combo that wasn't good.
I love when they have the random "popular trends" (or whatever it's called), and strange combinations come up. I made a ton of money with a Hopsital/Action/Casual game once.

Well I thought it was good
Fuck you All Games.

Game Hero doesn't know wth they are talking about. Kids love dance games, I've seen it for myself.
Why does that one reviewer have to underscore? Just once, I'd love to have straight 10's.

Yeah but they have the motor skills of a high chimpanzee.
Fuck you banks, I just need more time.
I made Military/Action "ADHD CoD Zombies" and it was a great hit. :v:
I dont get how to make good games.
It`s all so random.
Hah, reminds me of The Settlers where iron smelters made pigs instead of iron.

:v
That does REALLY give food for thought...
Why are there so many people that pirate? It ruins me! I had like 5m and then people suddenly started pirating everything I made, even if I got really good ratings (that I usually get). Not fair.
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
Is there any way to keep it from not happening? Changing platform won't help.
Wow man, you're famous!!... Kinda

wow turning me off from buying this thing now
anyways it looks like you caught the attention of the scene now.
I'm glad that I bought the game - great fun with it, but it's kinda sad to see that a lot of people pirated it. You seriously couldn't spare 8 dollars? :L
