My game keeps getting pirated and all it gives me the option to do is ":-(", any tips?
[sp]Just kidding, getting the demo right now.[/sp]
I got so close to being bankrupt in the first office, I just kept making games one after the other as fast as possible, and fired all my staff - somehow this helped and I'm back up to ~3M now.
This needs to get to Steam ASAP. D:
pay for html5 line story game :suicide:
engine is node-webkit
simple copy exe and rename in to zip
use some HexEditor open that file
find hex value 504B030414

remove everything that before then save
here u go zip-file with whole game
drop that zip into node-webkit exe "nw.exe"
Seems like every time you edit your save.. it continuously asks you if you want to move into a new office.
E.
Not to mention it crashes if you do.
I can say that I havent had that, but i only edited in 1m so i didnt lose hours of progress
ok so i made a game that made boatloads of money an had a 7.5 review score.
i dump most of my money into a fancy new game engine and release a sequel and it gets a 3.75
what the fuck people eat up call of duty like animals and i do the same thing only i update the game and people bitch that i'm repeating myself.
I made a fucking 2D racing game for the gameboy and I didn't even FUCKING name it :v: :v::v::v::v:

It was the number one game on the charts and made me like 10x my money back.

What will the sequel be called; Game #16 2, or Game #17?
This game is really difficult

Number 17: The Game
No, it's still hard. I can't tell you how many times I fucked up before finally getting a good company.
I was doing good making some decent 7-9 rating games. You absolutely cannot repeat genre/setting or else you will get bad reviews, even on another platform. I 'ported' my game I last made to PC and got awful reviews. :(

Yes!

Seems to be rather popular with the kids.
This game really makes those achievements impressive. I physically yell out YES when a game gets good reviews.
Made a lifting sim with 10 10 10 9. Also, all my games are starting to suck. Used to be consistent 8's and 7's, now I'm getting 4's and 3's.
I suck at naming games ;_;

Aand I just went bankrupt as well. R.I.P. Now to start over and learn from my mistakes.
So do you need 4 employees to get to the second office stage, or when does that happen?

What a sequel.
Just finished a game of the demo.
It was so satisfying for one of my games (titled "Space Dicks: Rising) to receive 10's (okay, 7-9's) and rake in 1.2M.
Is it possible to go multi-platform?

What? How the heck do you make a good sequel?
Whenever I make a sequel to a hit game, it either turns out "meh" or totally flops.
Congrats guys facepunch made it to the verge, AGAIN :v:

First game was for a handheld. Sold rather well actually. Made me like 22.8m. Also... Try and time the release or dev of your games near or after G3. Major hype.

This is the best I have done holy shit. Had a really rocky start though.
Some oil company in Nigeria invested a lot of money in my company.
