It was. They requested that I pay 175k in order to get the 2.5m.
Managed to survive for 21 years before I hit a snag. I just can't make good games anymore. Oh well, the Big Game Hunter Series saved me a few times :D
Year 25 and I have over 600m$.
Holy crap how did you pull that off? I'm still learning what makes a good game and everything. Sometimes I wish time didn't go so fast. I feel rushed all the time.
Just past 800m. Super Mario World (it was a sequel) sold like 9.1 million unites which generated 127m in sales. [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/TheJoker/ZZowUL.png[/t] Here's my most recently finished game.
I'm hitting a wall. All my games suck now. I don't think there is enough info on what makes a good game in this... game. I try to focus on different things with each specific genre, but I'm now gettin 1's and 2's in my game.
I have so much money... I don't know what to do with it. (1,135.3M)
My game broke after finishing the game :L Everytime I click somewhere it comes up with this. [t]http://cdn.euflux.com/02188.jpg[/t]
What's this stuff about a custom console?
I like the game far but I feel like the genres are really limited. Wheres platformer, fighting, beat em up, shooter and puzzle? Racing should be a genre IMO, Let me make Super Vampire Kart pls. Also I feel like I never have enough research points
The bankrupt shit is BS. Going 200k into debt is like something a home owner would go into. Having that be the limit for a game developer is ridiculous. I had a game with 10's going all over and I was about to sell 1million uniits but I went like 250k in debt and instantly lost.
Market share's don't change after you bet the game.
For longer term play, it would be neat for user submitted console ideas to keep the history going.
Market share's don't change after you bet the game.
They do if you make your own console.
All that spam about market news makes me not want to replay the game.
[img_thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/82744927/THEME%20HOSPITAL%2C%20BITCHES.png[/img_thumb] I spent 70k on it. Make 2mil back. In the demo too! [editline]30th April 2013[/editline] 9, 10, 9, 8.
Damn getting a 10 score from all reviewers is very hard. Even with a 7 person fully maxed with a pretty good engine, great combination and good slider adjustments(with specialists) I can't get a perfect 10. Or maybe not maxed, I have level 10s employees with 1450~ Design and tech, with 1000 speed and research, is there any higher?
oh god no.... i did the werewolf topic and named my game Twillight. 160k copies sold and got 1.1 mil out of it
I played it for a full "30 years" last night in a single sitting. First go at it and I ended on having $155m in the bank. I was pretty much carried the entire way by a sports sim I made for a publisher (in the small office with 3 staff) that sold 2.2m in the first week.
I'm really enjoying the game, but I wish there was a screen that had more indepth info about the trends and what audiences use what consoles. I'm finding it a bit tricky sometimes to guess what console to put shit on and it's ending up with poor sales.
Nothing depresses me more than seeing people make decent money off a game with a real world title. Part of the fun is in parodies for me :(
Finally beat the game.
Is this game worth the price?
Is this game worth the price?
I lost 3 days of my life because of this game, so I say yes.
Decided to load up my first save(The only time I've managed to "win" :v:) [t]http://i.imgur.com/XJS5GtY.png[/t] My third MMO, first one was a flop and the second one got 8/9's and ended up selling 40 million copies. [editline]30th April 2013[/editline] Also, how do I mute the Windows 8 version?
Who would have though it was going to be so popular?
Copies of Destination: Sex are selling well. I didn't know the Romance Action genre would do as well as it has. I think it's because there's a current trend for unusual combinations.
Just beat the game. Had $200m by the end I never left my garage.
Was the reason you never left the garage was to avoid the piracy in the second level?
mod are pirate! [editline]30th April 2013[/editline] Oh come on.
Probably because the Monthly costs in the garage are laughable and you can still pump out pretty decent games.
