Good MMOs earn a fortune, just keep making packs and it will last a few years normally.
How do you move into a new office after declining the first offer?
I love playing this game but i keep going bankrupt when you move out of the office, My games are way better quality but i only get 4's and 5's, Any tips for that? Sorry if its already posted in the thread.
Stay in the garage for a little while longer and build yourself up a nice nest egg. I waited til I had about 15-20M in the bank before I upgraded in my current game, and it worked out well. Also, don't hire extra staff immediately after moving into an office. Hire the extra staff as you actually need them.
How do MMO's work long term? I'm not losing money on my MMO only like a year in.
Very well if you off a few expansions and get large booths at e3. This was my last MMO on an earlier save: [t]http://puu.sh/2KZYi.jpg[/t]
I got an 8/10 on average with it. So I'm guessing it's simulating most MMO's where the longer they are around the more traction they get.
I don't know if console pirating is a thing but I have over 11 million copes sold of my game and yet I only sold 6.2 of my console
It was so good, some people bought two.
I don't understand how my console is at the top of the market while only having 5 games for the system and there's clearly no option to become a publisher for your own consoles and have companies come to you.
It was so good, some people bought two.
Now by my calculations each person bought it and all of its expansions 241 times each
Welp. Bought the game and I'm now proceeding to download it at a whopping 1000 bytes per second AKA just under 1kb/s! Yay internet! [editline]dfgjh[/editline] Cancelled and restarted the download out of pure frustration. Suddenly starts downloading at 500kb/s
FUCK
I have 13 billion dollars Im done
You can still have other people make games for it, in reality.
That's what I mean, but why am I not getting the dev costs then? Plus on the console I sold 12 million units, yet had a MMO that had 96 million copies sold. (including one xpac) some things in the game need to be improved
What the fuuuck? Got 80 in both design and technology, followed the game combination list on the wiki, released on the platform it was best on, and still only 5 5 5 5?
Some of the 'hits' appear to be really random
DO NOT TRUST THIS SHIT WIKI! Idiots keep editing the page. I might make a proper wiki for the game on a real webhost, mainly becaue wikia is shit. Fixed width ad-ridden crap.
if you want i can host it at wiki.maxsblog.de :C
Fuck me, I can never get a hit. Also, can never get past the office thing. Do you guys have any tips? For the garage stage and the first office stage.
if you want i can host it at wiki.maxsblog.de :C
Install mediawiki to that subdomain. I'll be glad to manage the wiki. I have a lot of mediawiki experience. Add me on Steam and we can talk more. [editline]3rd May 2013[/editline]
[t]http://puu.sh/2Mgqk.png[/t] also this sucks
What the hell man.
[t]http://puu.sh/2Mgcp.jpg[/t] fuck you all games [editline]3rd May 2013[/editline] [t]http://puu.sh/2Mgqk.png[/t] also this sucks
If you look at the bottom of that thread, he said that the comment was made before th massive boost in sales and thus now he has enough money to make improvements. Also, in the blog he mentions they are working on a stockholder DLC
So whats the differences from the original game dev story by kairosoft? and is it worth it if you've played game dev story on the phone already?

Month 4-5 is around the time I usually make games. G3 makes the hype skyrocket. Combine that with large campaigns and other marketing and it could easily reach 600.
i don't get this game great tech / design 15+ hype shit reviews shit sales |:
Sliders yo
You realize the Shareholders Edition was just an April Fool's joke, right.
I just went back and had a look at it and realised it said April 1st. How i feel fooled, But i do think that some aspects of it sound like a good game.
I suck so hard on the second level
I suck so hard on the second level
I always have to pay back loans everytime I was bankrupt, after 4 restarts, I knew I had to save as much money as possible. I remember my 2nd hit barely saved me after the monthy bill. Basically only employ one guy to help you out, train them when you have enough RP points. Then save and just mess around with the sliders for your next game, if it doesn't work load the save again and play with the slides again.
