the hackers never disappeared. if you really wish to avoid hackers I would personally say to stick away from 30+ pop servers. hackers don't' usually bother with less because of the short attention spans usually associated with small children.

Also the server browser is blank now. Even after a reinstall and verifying game cache my server list won't load.

Wow this along with the new zombie horde system makes it looks like it's gonna be a good few monthes. I'm still of the opinion that DayZ will reward our patience and will turn out into really solid game.

What's up with my character shaking forever and no hints telling me what's wrong ? It's not related to cold, and possibly not related to pain, since I've been consuming painkillers for a few days and I couldn't make it stop shaking.

Have you tried sitting by a fire for a few minutes? I also don't think painkillers have any implemented effects yet. Parkinsons shake is caused exclusively by cold. The only other shake is the shake you can get from Kuru which manifests itself as a random twitch at longer intervals.

Have you tried taking some antibiotics?, perhaps a try applying a splint?
I just recently started playing this game and it's absolutely nervewrecking some times! I experienced my first ambush mugging, and my heart was litterally pounding!
I did some research and found out that the airfield is where you want to go, and I went there. Now I got all this cool clothing but I can't find ANY ammo for my SKS, I have tons of other ammunition though. Also, why won't the scope I found attatch to the rifle?
And another question; I've played on a few different servers now, and sometimes I spawn as a new guy, and other times I spawn as one of my older guys with some of the stuff I've collected, and that's cool, but I just can't seem to find a pattern. I've joined different servers everytime, so I'm really curious how that works.

Each Private Hive has different characters. Hardcore has different characters too.

You get a different character save file on every server if they run on the private hive.
If the server runs on the public hive your character is the same for every server except for the fact that 1st/3rd person and 1st person public hives have seperate characters.
The hive and gamemode type is displayed in the server browser.
SKS ammo is most commonly found in military tents, jails and wrecked SUVs
It is possible to get fully geared with military loot without going to any military bases if you know the right routes to loot wrecked military trucks, jeeps and military prisons
Also, don't get too attached to your gear because you [B]will[/B] die sometime without even seeing what got you, especially if you stay around the military bases.

Sitting by a fireplace for a few minutes fixed it. I'm glad I can fix this if it ever happen again. Thank you (and the others for trying to help me. And no, I'm not cannibal, hehe).
