Tried with the new engine, holy shit it actually runs at 60+ fps, some frame drops every now and again but wow, I could totaly get back into playing with others
The fps improvement and feel improvement is crazy good.
Also, updated Chernogorsk looks amazing! Besides added locations, a lot of small details were added to it, so the whole city looks more like an actual city where people used to live.
I played yesterday with a couple friends, and i had the most productive game yet. We found a car in berezino, and while we fixed it up we started a settlement called preston garvey, screwed up cooking chicken and got sick, bordered on starving to death for a few hours, got the car fixed, became master race pumpkin farmers, ans found a sweet spot to set up camp. I lived with sickness from eating undercooked chicken for at least 3 hours with no major decrese in health, we got some decent gear and tons of ammo, then the car dissapeared. Rip lady lada. You were too sweet for this world.

Now that 0.60 is stable, I can't find a single decent 1PP public hive server. Anyone frequent any? I like it to be packed as well, like 50/50 if it's possible. If not, I guess I'll settle for a decent private hive. Why is everyone hosting only private hives anyway? I remember the mod used to have mostly public hive, but then over time people transitioned to mostly private hive.
I've noticed that pretty much forever, first person public hive has been the least popular group of servers.
A few months back I had a public hive character on first person, every server was pretty much deserted.
I don't get how people enjoy 3rd person more. The wall peaking just makes the game boring IMO. Where's the tension of lying on top of a roof waiting for a sniper to stop covering you if you can just see him over the ledge?

This game is beginning to look like Mad Max, I swear. Yesterday I saw sedan with two wheels and without doors chased by fully assembled truck with different panels and 3 peoole inside of it. They were shouting something, but I couldn't make it out.

I was using a [B]tyre[/B] lug, had the action menu list and what not but nothing would happen. ([B]Kek, just to anoy the americas[/B])

Also do V3s's take a different type of battery? I found one but couldn't start it, even after putting a battery in.

Ah right, not seen one of them yet. It's annoying that you can't get any long range scopes for the mosin anymore. Also had a problem where my Mosin decided that it wasn't loaded anymore so I lost the only ammor I had for it. Got a Red 9 though but it seems kinda shit. It's got a stock, does that actually make a difference to any stats? Not sure whether to carry it in hand over my magnum.
Pretty happy with my character right now, got loads of stuff. I've got all I need to become self sufficient, a spade for planting, a gas cooker, a pot, a hunting knife and some weapons. I want to roleplay the friendly medic, but the only encoutner I've had so far didn't end in death because I later found out the guy didn't have any ammo. It seems to be that people are only friendly if they can't win in a fight, the majority of armed players I've met in this game will shoot first if they have ammo. I'm really scared of losing it all but I have to get to berehzino to find a friend :(

The default is really low but you can go to a max of of 76 I believe.
i have played this game all day and have no found a single item
i've died already due to starvation and my new character is on the verge of death because the houses drop absolutely nothing. i guess you can farm apples or berries but i haven't found any wild plants either
i punched a chicken to death but had no way to harvest the meat or cook it
dayz was fun before but if there's broken item spawning (or generally just really, really low chances) it's not very helpful to new players at all
