The sound design for the zeds in KF2 is incredibly disappointing, especially since they sound so creepy in KF1
One of my favorite maps to play on when solo-ing to do my dailies is KF-Edge-Of-Reality since it looks pretty good and the low gravity in zed time sends you flying as high as it lasts and when you fall you only take minimal damage no matter how high you are .
They sorta nailed the zed sounds in EA if you didn't care of the fact that they didn't speak. The FP and Scrake in particular had very distinctive growls that fit really really well with their attacks and you could instantly identify them based on their growls a mile away.
Now though, they sound like generic orcs, but it's ok because they speak now even though the general chaos of the game means that you'll only hear the lines once every 500 matches!!!!

I wasn't really burned by the Fleshpound voice change (the screams are still pretty intimidating) but the Scrake sounds were such a serious downgrade. And it's not like they're even justified because he still doesn't speak!
It's also a bit annoying that Quarter Pounds have been in the game for a while and they still sound identical to FPs.
Not only that but no new Quarter Pounder alert lines.
What's the most annoying Zed type in your opinion?
My vote goes for sirens. Fuck them and Fuck that AoE scream they have that bypass armor.
Also if there are at least 3 in one place is enoufh to give you hell since your scream gets all blurry making you not be able to see shit.

remove all stalkers from the premises. They're not only stupidly fast but most of their attack animations displace their hitbox really hard on top of being practically impossible to see without being commando or getting attacked.

Another thing that's really annoying is how corpses work in that they usually have a death animation and they can still catch bullets for other zeds. Dealing with crawlers in groups is horrific just beyond melee range because their corpses collect all the ammo you send their way at certain angles and zeds have no trouble walking through corpses, it's just your bullets that have the trouble. I'm not really sure if that's intentional or just a goof.
well you can probably circumvent that by disabling corpses completely

I think it would be a fair change if Fire didn't make them explode.
Firebug's supposed to be the best perk for killing crawlers, but they have no way of killing them without making them pop. Kinda annoying.
I think they should probably get rid of normal mode. This game's population is really weirdly spread out.
It's bad that I see constant level 20s in Hard when I'm leveling a class I haven't played before.
I guess people like their god complex two-shotting fleshpounds on a difficulty they're over-leveled for? No clue.
I'm level 25 in most perks and play in Hard regardless because I find it's the right balance between mildly challenging but not impossible.
It's especially the case since I've been in plenty of games where I've had to carry the team because they got cornered mid wave or something. I doubt I could do the same (as easily) on Suicidal.
To me from Hard to Suicidal isn't much of a difference.
I actually feared playing Suicidal for a while till I gave it a shot and wondered why it was a piece of piss when I was apparently under leveled for it as support.
So of course curiosity interested me and I try Hell on Earth, that's when things actually got difficult, however the "Recommended 25" is just that, a recommendation.
Again played it as a level 20 beserker and did fine.
The only big difference from Hard to Suicidal to Hell on Earth is the spawn count and the speed as to which basic bitch enemies walk toward you.
Combine the speed + spawncount + shit to get stuck on + KF2's really annoying way of spawning enemies in the direction you're going makes these higher difficulties 'hard'

okay so im level 13 or something on the server but not locally, it's not synchronized or something goes wrong somewhere
i know this because i just saw it in sam and i do have the achievements for leveling
I'm confused. Are you higher than level 13 and for some reason keep being reset to 13 or did you level up to 13, but your game just hasn't sync'd up properly so you're still recognised as a lower level when you're not actually?
it keeps me on level 0 when i should be on level 13
If you're playing offline with no internet connection, that's why. KF2 uses Steam to sync and keep track of your player progress, and if it can't connect to Steam to grab that info then you'll be stuck at level 0 and gain no XP for the match(s).
Or you're just playing on a server that either has perks disabled outright or only local perks/xp leveling.
But I am playing online, every other perk has leveled, in fact I just leveled my sharpshooter from level 10 to 15 while I tried doing the same with commando and that one didn't level so what the fuck
I'm getting constant crashes now for some reason.
It just blacks screens in the middle of a match with the "KF2 haa stoped working" message.
