so like, i dont know how many times i passed level 25 during the cyber event, and never got any of dar's skins. So, like is there any way i can fix that or is it too late?
I'm pretty sure is gone for now the chance to get the skins, no idea why they did this
It was a seasonal event.
I keep freaking crashing. It seems so random. According to my crash logs, something about "Log: Timed out while waiting for GPU to catch up. (500 ms)"
Really annoying that it just keeps happening. Anybody else have the same issue?
Killing Floor 1, team was kitted up and ready to fight the patriarch at kf-farm, waves starts, and the patriarch falls through the ground and dies instantly
Are you playing the Beta? Because last I knew a good amount of people were having a whole mess of performance issues.
Some times with luck you can do whole 4 waves game for example with no EDARs and some times you get 24/7 immobilized through walls by them and die because of that.
I had a messed up game on Endless today where one of the fleshpounds on the 6th wave could not be killed. Our commando said his health kept shooting back up to full whenever we damaged him and I spent 10 minutes knifing the thing before dying cause we ran out of ammo.
Anyone else have that feeling that if you prestige you will be cockblocked from dumb achievements forever that they will add later for going on prestige on perks.

Also, another thing I can't be the only one experiencing.. Gorefiends and gorefasts seem especially broken now. I keep shooting Gorefiends and Gorefastes
CLEANLY on the head, but somehow the shot will be deflected by the creature's arms as if I shot the arm and not their face. It's as if these enemies are
preblocking my shots, I wasn't sure if at first the sword in their mouth counts as a metal object, but no, it's definitely that I'm shooting their face, but it's being
deflected as an arm shot.
What is going on with these hitboxes? This is as bad as the hitboxes in the previous game.

Well, hopefully by the time the beta ends, they've ironed out the most prominent issues and when the non-preview version is out, it'll be more stable. But for
the most part, I think we're stuck with it.
Unlike zed resistances which seems almost universally canned, there is some good in the upgrade system, but also bad. Some of the bad I've noticed is that it really hurts the old tier 4 weapons a lot in my opinion. Lower tier weapons benefit the most from it. Too much, perhaps. I've been experimenting with Sharpshooter, and it just seems not at all worth it to even run the M14 EBR anymore. It's still fairly expensive, and then you have to pay extra money to actually get it to its former state beforehand. And it doesn't help it feels awful against the EDAR enemies.
It seems a lot better to just stick with the standard 1894 and upgrade it a couple of times. Solo Hell on Earth, with 3 upgrades, it's a damn monster. Capable
of two-shotting fleshpounds even under max level. Heck, it even overshadows the SPX Centerfire a bit.
Considering the other stuff they half ass all the time. Yes.
It feels like they have no plan of action for anything they're doing these days.
They're literally making it up as they go along.
It's beta for a reason
That's no excuse for doing something so bare bones. Like i said before, they could introduced a full weapon upgrade system but only for one perk for balancing reasons. What we have as right now is very far away from what we could have and what they plan doing it later.
Also i love how Abomination is literally immune against to explosions, a t5 RPG wasn't doing any damage at against it
Dude the shitty variants got added as is, no "beta" will ever fix how lazy they were with the variants. All of them are bad. All of them. They all look like I made them in 20 minutes TOTAL
Everybody who understood how this game works told tripwire how much of a balance mess the upgrade system, E-Dars, and M99 would be, but they took none of that criticism, and just went ahead and crammed them all in with no forethought.
That's why they should start using some planning, make more tests and balances and schedule because holy fuck, just feels like they rushed this stuff to be put in just for the sake of saying "There, have fun!"
Adding more content when the core gameplay loop still has massive issues doesn't solve anything :^)
I honestly don't mind EDAR units provided they have a more visible weakpoint. At the moment, people are saying treat them like rioters. Powerful enough
weapons are sharpshooters can one-shot them in the head, but other weapons should shoot them in the legs. I've read people saying that the back is the
weak point, but that's obviously very hard to determine fighting them alone.
I think a much better alternative to any of the current options would be to give them a variable weakpoint. It would be interesting if you could for instance,
shoot the ones that stun you on their arm as they're charging it, and it would do considerably more damage to them. Perhaps it could be something like a
husk, where if you kill them this way, an electric discharge will occur around their body and stun any nearby zeds.
A weak point that isn't always visible, and only when they perform certain attacks. Think like the Patriarch's tentacle.

E-dars are supposed to have their chest as a weakpoint that takes about 40% more damage, but TW actually forgot to activate the weak spot on the E-Dar models, so they don't take any extra damage.
Uhh so when you're playing survivalist you don't actually gain any xp for other perks when you do damage with their weapons? Is that a new bug or is it supposed to be that way? Cause I wish I knew about that before I prestiged 4 of my perks.

The other half was to fill a perk slot they promised but couldn't be assed to actually finish
I mostly leveled up all my perks before the survivalist even came out, kinda stopped paying attention to xp gain after that point .
I thought I could at least coast through the first 10 or so levels of each perk when the bonuses are mostly useless with survivalist, but I guess that won't really work. The xp objective descriptions really should clarify which ones can be achieved off-perk and which are on-perk only.
I had this exact issue and I ended up turning down the nVidia related gibs n'fluids settings to bare minimum. Also tweaked the AA to be lower etc.
That fixed that crash, but I still got completely random ones which only mentioned errors in KF2's .exe itself. Weirdly, those went away in the beta and I can now play for more than 2 matches without it crashing on me like it would before.
Just tried the new power fists on my parry-zerker build (RRRRL) and it was hilarious and great fun. I highly recommend it.
Like @chenhonkster said, you might be hitting the sword in its mouth.

The swords through its body also blocks projectiles.
