that guy is really good at KF, it's insane. He also managed to ass-blast the steam forums by demonstrating how VLAD + Zwei is actually the best loadout for zerks
I mean chaining headshots with the seeker of all things is pretty impractical during an actual game.
If you don't want to chain seeker headshots vs. FP's you can combo it with C4 and Seeker bodyshots.
As for scrakes, it's just a matter of practicing the anims for head tracing (or if you feel lazy, just take DBS with Seeker for scrakes)
Impact damage also affects non dud impacts so, if you're confident you can headshot them from a distance and then chain 2 or 3 pointblank headshots which will guarantee a stumble (unless somebody stumbls it before you do)
I've been having a hell of a time trying to find a game recently, though it's probably just due to when I am free. I'm in Pacific time, and I can't find any servers populated by a single person for this past week.
Is there actually no public games going on right now, or is there another issue present?
It's probably because the beta is causing a pretty heavy split between the playerbase at the moment. Next week once the update is out, it should go back to normal.
This guy's accuracy when testing shit is strangely good, the way he follows the head of the Zeds around, honestly it looks almost aimbot like, but I don't know.
It's mostly a matter of memorizing animations/incaps. Once you get the gist of their animations zeds become predictable in how they act. It's most notable when clots run around with their head bobbing sideways, or when FPs do their ground pound rage animation.
What's the impressions on the new Mac-10 changes? Spreadsheet says it now deals SMG type damage instead of Shotgun type. As well as bullet damage now being level 25, which is the same as the MP5, ignoring the afterburn of course.
If you're a swat and not a firebug, is it really worth picking up?
Is this the reason why zeds would uncharacteristically go flying if you killed them with the Mac-10?

Today I had a dream that the CEO of Tripwire and Mike Judge (creator of King of the Hill) were gonna do something special for KF2 and that I was playing on Nuked as Firebug, so I typed in chat "I hope they add Hank Hill to KF2 since his voice lines would do well for the Firebug perk."
Imagine a KoTH themed map with the theme playing with a rock version.
I still don't understand why it takes so long, it's on Unreal 3 isn't it? The engine MANY games have been created on for fucking years, that don't have ludicrous launch times?

It precaches key .upk's like all the char, weapon and zed models to keep from reloading those packs every time you start a match, but over time the char/weap upks have bloated to absurd levels from the number of skins and models from cosmetics.
Whether by lazy optimization or a custom skeleton DAR is 1GB alone, and the cosmetics/weap skins? 8.75GB. 20GB is in maps which don't get precached, which leaves the original game, including holiday zeds and all other chars/weaps, at 10GB.
So basically half the load time is cosmetics and skins.
Wait how the hell does that even work when the game only takes up a couple GB of RAM? I mean all that shit can't possibly even fit into memory on most machines so???

New update makes firebug pretty viable against bigger zeds. He's probably got the second easiest FP takedown next to Demo.
I managed to finally become a level 25 Firebug. Now all I need is to level up Gunslinger and that's it. I could do Survivalist but I don't like that perk.
Survivalist is objectively the worst perk of the game, they need to replace it with something better.
Survivalist exists purely for them to say "Look, we promised x amount of perks"
I dunno, I like the idea but the execution of the Survivalist is really kinda piss-poor.
survivalist has basically become irrelevant when they added true cross-perk functionality to weapons
Honesty they should just give survivalist various armour perks and crowd control perks.
Make survivalist the PVP human perk, and introduce a new perk for survival mode.
Fixes most of the balance issues in PVP (medics and zerks really break PVP), and allows survivalist a place to actually work in.
They should've just gone with a new class entirely, the slasher perk everyone was suspecting about seemed really cool, super fast low damage but at a high rate seemed perfect. Especially with KF2's fast pace.
