I think the world rendering is more based on CPU than RAM, my laptop can barely run GTA but I only have disappearing geometry when I have more stuff opened in the background or try to use the self radio, even with 8GB RAM.

I'd expect the i7 4somethingsomething in my laptop handle it :v: though could be because of thermal throttling, shit gets to 99C according to HWmonitor all the time.
Maybe I'll test it someday because it's NOT +25C outside this time, closer to -25C.

It's an i7, but what's the clock speed, for example? I too have a i7, but it's a 2.4GHz one, since the focus isn't to be a gaming machine, so it isn't a particularly powerful one despite the i7 brand

It's a shitty mobile i7, i7-4720HQ(3.6ghz)
But it's packed in to this shitty laptop so I have a feeling that thermal throttling is keeping it way back
I kinda wish the Rocket Voltic had some kind of long rage flamethrower or a built in laser-like rail gun that temporary stunned vehicles.

Do engine and exhaust noises change when you do performance upgrades? I just fully upgraded my elegy retro and I swear it sounds lifeless now. Before the stock turbo made sick choo choo noises now it's just the generic whirring, and the exhaust sounds different. Maybe I'm crazy, IDK.
Once I went custom the game had some kind of seizure and played weird exhaust noises and I was hyped that it might actually sound different but nope, it all sounds the same
I don't like fighting against other people once they have killed me once.
I don't know how to explain it, but it's like if there was a karmic GTA god that ruined all my attempts at seeking revenge after being killed once. It's like if it was some kind of curse I've acquired after all those times I've provoked others for no reason or went too far with revenge (like ruining someone's cargo sale because they sent mercenaries after me).
Everytime I try to claim revenge, it's like if the game worked against me.
My mercenaries never arrive, my muggers get killed, I crash into traffic, I crash my hydra or helicopter or any armored vehicle. A Free Mode event that disables PvP starts, I lose connection, etc.
That's why I avoid being killed. If I die I won't be able to claim revenge.
I like GTAO races at the moment becauase they are 2x rp and 2x money. And I win most of the time. But races are boring as fuck when you have your custom car that wrecks everything else.
No contact, no customs races are the best.
I might've already posted about this but I really wish we could get a decommissioned Aqua Blazer, it's a really fun vehicle but it's gimped by the fact that you can only use the forward-facing guns that do poor damage and fire at knee level.
I'd use it more often if I had access to my normal weapons

Man, Rockstar needs to fix that first loop on the Double Loop map. I was in first place, and my car crashed into some invisible obstacle that completely fucked me over. HOT garbage.

Well if someone wants you as an associate for CEO shit, they will send you a request on the SecuroServ app on your phone. In order to be a CEO you need an office which the cheapest costs like $1 million. There's a lot more than that but I'm too lazy to go through it all. Can't explain why Rockstar doesn't have servers. Maybe they didn't think it would be as big as it is. And I'm sure some of the lads will be able to tell you the fastest cars. Off the top of my head, a fully upgraded Elegy RH8 is the fastest in the sports class, while the Sabre Turbo (upgraded at Benny's) is the fastest muscle car. Other than that someone else will have to help you out.

Broughy, a GTA racing Youtuber, has a spreadsheet containing information about vehicle performance. It hasn't been fully updated as there have been some vehicles that have been changed or Broughy is in the process of retesting them.

Keep in mind that the lap times are for a track that is balanced with long stretches and turns. Some cars may perform better or worse on stunt races which is the most popular form of racing in GTA at the moment.

I think I'm just even more convinced the driver AI in this game are out to get you no matter how impractical.
