I've been playing again, and that's virtually all I've been doing. It is extremely fun.
As fun as the stunt races are, I do miss regular races. They're practically dead, or super shittily made custom tracks.
I'm at 800K. Which would make me more money, buying an MC clubhouse business and praying I get into a solo public lobby and nobody fucks me over in the meantime, or get a CEO office and start selling cars after saving up just a little bit more? I have a feeling the car selling would work best because it'll take a lot less time to get paid, thus minimizing the window to get screwed.
To buy an MC business, you gotta put in a lot more than 800k since they're upgradable to get max profit, and you're gonna need a hell of a lot more than 800k to buy both an office and a car warehouse, that said, imo best way to make money if i had to pick one of the 2 options... it'd be the cars
Which version of San Andreas does everyone like? I can deal with the newest one and put the missing music in my mp3, but it'd have to improve on things.
Personally I like the first one that came out on PC, it's the one I've been playing constantly since a kid.

I vote for cars but you need 2mil for that, and also you get discounts to some Warstock vehicles, and missionsthat involve using those vehicles
How long does it take to make your money back with the cars?
If you end up rolling biker club, be prepared for hidden fees and potential shitty returns. DO NOT BUY THE DOCUMENT SHOP. I made that mistake since it was cheap and the return wasn't really that great. Also, a clubhouse may only be listed as X amount, but there's a whole slew of customization options (some of which are required) that cost a fuckload more. Also, certain non necessary but potentially desirable changes such as changing the fucking wall art from tits-a-hoy to literally anything else costs a pretty penny as well. Another thing: Be prepared to get totally fucked in the ass when it comes time to deliver the shipments. They don't let you use your fantastic armored XYZ, you have to use <insert generic ultra shitty van here>.

You'd need to sell 19 undamaged top range cars to make back the price of the cheapest warehouse(this is assuming you would only be selling cars to make that money back). If you mix the work with things like Sightseer/Headhunter, it really doesn't take too long to earn everything back.
Also, I figure it's worth posting in case people don't know about it, but you can force certain cars to spawn when you're sourcing vehicles. The game will want to fill your warehouse up with one of each car that can be stolen, the amount of vehicles(this does not count variants as that is irrelevant to this) should be around 32. Once you have 32 cars in your warehouse and have made sure you do not have any duplicate vehicles, you can export a car and when you source a vehicle, you will be stealing the car you just exported. You can use this method to get collections easily too.

Yeah, fun math: if you're going with most profitable(cocaine with full upgrades - 2.8 mil to buy and upgrade, and far sale) then you're gonna get 84k worth of product per hour of real time. Also gonna factor in that you're gonna either regularly steal supplies(a chore if solo) or buy supplies(which is going to cut your profits to 34k(!) per real hour). That's 84 hours of real time to get your money back or 34 hours + time to steal supplies if you're not gonna buy them. Pretty fun eh?

Jeez I already regret buying a meth lockup :disgust:
If you can make easy money with a double $ and RP event then you should use it as investment money for biker clubhouses. That way, when it goes, you have a steady stream of money to rely on all the time
on another topic, should I buy the retro comet or the tropos rallye?
on another topic, should I buy the retro comet or the tropos rallye?
Depends on what you're looking for in a car. The Tropos probably has more use as it's a rally car and handles really well offroad, but I don't think it had a lot of customization options. The Comet Retro isn't an easy car to drive and will probably not win you a lot of races, but I'm pretty sure it had a lot of customization since it's a Benny's vehicle.
Why doesn't Rockstar release the Deluxo?
Why doesn't Rockstar release the Deluxo?
Because that's what players want.
Now shut up and have five more supers.
think i settled on a face/hair combo for a bit now

Then why bother, because you don't want to see tits?
Then why bother, because you don't want to see tits?
I don't like seeing tits, not because I'm against sex or anything. It's just that tits turn me on and I can't think properly when I'm turned on, so I need to pick serious looking things so I don't start getting horny while playing.
It also takes all seriousness from gangs or whatsoever.
A skull looks edgy but rad, like something a gang who focuses on killing rivals would put up.
Tits look like "Look, we're a manly MC composed by horny dudes, we have an half naked chick in our wall"
It's not about tits being given for free, it's about the price of customization.
That's a reason I can accept.
is it a crime not to want to look at tits?
I just think that design looks terrible, and doesn't fit my character's professional style. I prefer minimalist sleek designs.
Why would you buy a Biker Club if you're going for a Professional Style? That's like the complete opposite of Professional.

Well, I wasn't just going to completely ignore that DLC. I'm always gonna try new shit. I mostly stick with the CEO stuff though.
Alright, I'm mad, people. Really mad. In order to make my MC Clubhouse the hardest of hardcore, I purchased a hot pink Faggio Mod. Not only was I unable to put my desired five hundred mirrors and headlights in addition to four antennas in order to turn into a mobile radio tower, but the lights are non-functional.
God damnit, I purchased the car to incinerate the Kuruma drivers by turning the headlights on when they try to ram me head on and promptly burninate half of Los Santos in the process.

Well that's kinda what happens when you grind it out as much as you have, you get burnt out and don't like it.

turns out the Tropos is on sale today :v: so I made a decision

it's beautiful. slightly ridiculous how well it handles off road
So, new event is active today which includes double cash and RP on Rockstar created/verified races only. Also got some sales on the Omnis, Tropos, Trophy Truck, Desert Raid, ETR1, and RE-7B. Along with all of that, we also have 15 new Rockstar created stunt races.
Personally, I think most of the new stunt races are bad and tend to suffer from the same shit as always: bad checkpoint placement and not very interesting. Some of them are okay though.
[editline]d[/editline]
Fucked up and missed a race, seems like it's actually 15 races.
I just gave the new races a test run by myself. It feels like these were made by different people. The first wave of stunt races were really well made, short and sweet. These feel way too long. After I finished one lap, the other one felt like a chore.
[editline]28th February 2017[/editline]
Also, it feels like a lot of the jumps for motorcycles are too short. I've overshot them multiple times and missed the checkpoint because of it.
If anything it doesn't feel like the races have x2 rp/$ because the rewards are roughly the same as before yesterday. Maybe not, but it sure feels like it.

To get the best rewards for racing overall, a race has to have 8 players and has to run for at least 8 minutes to get the best reward
The game counts players up to 8 and time played up to 8 and determines your reward based on that, when you have both of those criteria met, it's about winning
The next Title Update, coming in March will introduce an all-new style of Stunt Races specifically designed to the extraordinary abilities of GTA Online Special Vehicles: the Rocket Voltic, the Ruiner 2000 and the Blazer Aqua. Each set of Races will play to the super powers of its respective vehicle so expect to launch across massive gaps at rocket-fueled speed in Rocket Voltic Races, seamlessly shred through land and sea in the Blazer Aqua, and free-fall into vehicular base jump style Races with the Ruiner 2000.
Creators will also get the chance to craft their own Races for these vehicles, so expect loads of insane Voltic, Ruiner and Blazer mayhem from the community this spring.
