Yeah but even with 20 people you still struggle to get a job off the ground, and most of the time the people who do join the jobs are rubbish.
So is GTA Online officially dead then? It seems like people rarely do missions/jobs and there is no solid team to do heists with.
GTA Online makes out to be very busy/popular but even the lobbys look 1/4 the size of what they were.
It's pretty alive in consoles.
I feel like there's not enough going on right now to warrant playing GTAO, and even then a lot of people still don't wish to take part in anything at risk of all these weird things going on with cheaters
Heists seemed to have died when they patched the Kuruma exploit
I enjoy playing GTA Online for the same reason I enjoy playing APB (the console version, with shitty connection and low FPS).
It hurts and feels good.
Online games are just not amusing if you don't have to compete against other equally-miserable players like you at poorly designed game modes just to earn a small amount of overpriced virtual money to buy badly textured clothing and cars that look more hideous than ever.
In most sessions I've joined, there's people asking for modders and money. Is there anything really that bad about randomly getting money dropped on you? If it saves in the next session, you must as well spend it.
Depends on how the game feels.
One of my friends got banned not even half a minute after cash got dropped on him from a modder.
Is the Nero worth buying since it's on sale?

Yes.

Just don't custom it, it turns into an expensive turd if you do that.
I have not bothered playing much of online lately because cheaters are getting malicious again and i'd rather not have some hydra loser chase me for a lousy 2k reward
If a steam friend wanted my help with online business stuff i'd come and help but otherwise i'll stick to director mode working on videos.

or it turns it into arguably the best super for stunt races
If you don't care about playing GTAO again, then there's literally nothing to lose by downloading FiveM instead.
Nobody has been banned for using it (and probably no one will) but it's way more fun and free of cheaters. Custom gamemodes are back like in MTA:SA/SAMP.

I hate that series of supers that turns into ugly GT variant with cardboards glued onto it when you put it through Benny's
The basic Nero is great, feels like the Adder but better in every single way.
What the hell is going on with my damn game?
About two days ago, whenever I tried launching GTA V, it would tell me that 'verifying game ownership is taking longer than usual'. Then it would continue trying to load into single player, but the loading would go on for well over 8 minutes with no sign of progressing. I was able to launch the game earlier today without any issues, but now trying to load right now it gives me the same long loading song and dance.
In all the 500+ hours I've played, I have never encountered such a thing, and this obscenely long loading is making it very inconvenient to try and play when I want to.
Infernus Classic is just as awesome as I was hoping it'd be.
Removed the spoiler and colored it ultra blue with hot pink pearl, matte black secondary and white interior. I call it Hot Wheels chic.

Not sure why they even let you change its rims. Why in god's name would you not use the defaults on this one?
So my T20 is starting to feel a bit slow (since everyone else literally passes me all the time), best overall fast/new car? I think I have all of the mods unlocked and can add them all without issues.

The Nero Custom is great for stunt racing and also works relatively well on most other types of tracks. If you're racing on tracks that do not rely on top speed, the best would be the RE-7B, but the Zentorno, Tempesta, and even your current T20 would probably work well on those types of tracks too.
You can still be competitive with the T20 on everything but stunt and highway races, you just need to drive it a bit more aggressively than you might be used to.
Figure out exactly how fast it can reliably attack corners, and use that to take the lead back while your opponents take them too slow or too wide.
Before I bought my T20, I typically felt like the T20 was the best overall car for my racing style. I typically won the most amount of races with it. Every other car either had way too much wheel spin, really sucked at steering or was too heavy and didn't accelerate fast enough. Granted, these were the "no custom cars allowed" races where you can pretty much pick which ever super car you wanted in the class in its stock form.

The loss of character customization and a big chunk of MP things a deal breaker for me.

Honestly most of the super cars are pretty balanced. You could probably win a race with any of them if you're good enough. Hell, I've still seen people win races with the fucking Entity XF.
Entity XF is still viable though, a lot of the early supers can easily win races if they have the right driver behind the wheel
Winning a super race with something weaker like the Sultan RS or even something as low tier as the Bullet would be more of a feat
I've won a couple races with my 900R just because most people don't know what a proper racing line is and try to drift every corner
Or you are lucky when everyone piles up a few seconds after the race and you stay 1st the entire time by a large margin.
I've won a couple races with my 900R just because most people don't know what a proper racing line is and try to drift every corner
the 900R is pretty much the fastest car in a straight line
So, i got a Warehouse, an Office and a large garage.
Should i get a Rocket Voltic or a Ramp Buggy?

Rocket Voltic for sure

The Ramp Buggy apparently explodes after hitting 20-30 cars in freemode. The Rocket Voltic can be a lot of fun, but after they changed the boost to not be tied by framerate, it's not as fun in my opinion.
Personally, I think it might be worth waiting before spending cash. Gunrunning is the next update and I believe that it might bring in more vehicles that are similar to the special vehicles of Import/Export.

True, i had it before they patched it. And i feel cheated when they patched it to decrease the boost.
I selled lots of cars that i had in my garage just for the rocket voltic.
Rocket Voltic for sure
really wish they didn't nerf the boost duration after day1 of the update
also they should make it so that the ramp buggy doesn't get damaged after driving under 20 cars or something
