Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V11 - SERIOUS RP ONLY

So, this just happened.
I was driving around in my Insurgent, I may or may not have been looking for trouble, who knows. I happen to drive by a Duke of Death and an Insurgent, said Duke of Death starts following me, and we both begin lightly tapping the horns. Said Insurgent from before rams into me out of nowhere, I start tapping the horn and so does he. He begins chasing after a person with a bounty. I join, and so does the DoD, all tapping our horns.
We chase down said target for like five minutes, a fourth Duke of Death joined in the chase, also honking his horn. We knocked his vehicle over on its roof and the other Insurgent starts throwing molotovs until their car blows up. The fourth DoD breaks off, while the rest of the three start doing donuts just whaling on the horns. I had to leave because I was fucking dying.
Here is hoping the update, whenever it comes, gives me a damn battle rifle as a new weapon.
Just like the Marksman rifle, but without the mandatory scope, that would be pretty sick.
There's talks about another "rockstar faggot" popping up with new leaks. Says the release is next week.
Not sure i buy it, myself though. But hey, if it's legit, it's cool.
I stopped buying into that when a bunch of actual faggots began impersonating him way back before Import/Export was released.
From the little things he has said, Gunrunning doesn't sound like it's gonna be that amusing.
The stuff he said was more or less this:
- Trailer coming next week once this bonus is over.
- Gunrunning missions are not like Trevor's arms smuggling missions in Story Mode, if that's what got you worried. The new missions are actually more or less fun.
- There will be a few new rifles and some other guns.
- The main focus of the update are Redneck-ish type gear. Think about stuff like the Rebel Technical.
One thing I've been wondering, has it been said if gun running is going to be a CEO, or MC thing? It kind of sounds like it could fit either, but seeing as how MC's only real money maker is businesses at the moment, I could see it being MC just to even things out.

It's very likely it will be a MC Bussines alternative.
CEOs already got three options: Special Cargo, Vehicle Cargo and SecuroServ Contact Missions.
MCs got two options: Operating a Criminal Business and doing Contracts. They seem the best candidate for an arms dealing option.
Plus, redneck stuff clashes with the whole "Evil Criminal Empire" vibe that SecuroServ has. Arms dealing seems more like a rough type of business, something that country-based gangs or more violent criminal organizations would do.
Personally, I'm frustrated that we can -still- only have 4 total members in a CEO organization.

You didn't hear? Companies like Wal-Mart and even Viacom only have 4 employees. Yep, that disfigured greeter you saw there was actually holder of 25% of the company.
It's just really weird how a CEO company which should be the richer business, has less room for associates than some biker gang

Rockstar should downsize to 4 employees to see how it is
Welp, a modder went and dunked $800,000 or so on me. Went and bought myself an armored Kuruma and an executive office with whatever I had after. Time to see if I get banned.

You probably won't be banned. I'm not saying with any certainty, but I've had about 3 million dropped on me. 1 million was dropped on my female character, invested in it all in some shit and nothing happened. Then a few weeks ago I had about 2 million dropped on me and I bought a car mod shop for my garage and some cars. Maybe I got lucky but I think if ya spend it you might be fine.
i can't believe that i have to redo that train mission for 7 times and finished it with a close call

I ended up getting nearly a billion in dropped cash, I bought so much shit that im swiming in fucking cars and other uselss things, still not banned, so no worries
pretty sure anyone who says they got banned for having money dropped on them was actually cheating and just said they weren't to save face
I know a lot of people who play GTA V and so far none of them have reported being banned for having a lot of money dropped on them, I am a bit wary about these claims for being banned as a victim of money dropping because it's some good fear mongering but I feel like it's untrue for everyone I know

My friend hacked the game a lot, cheated in a shitton of money... and the funny thing is, he got banned for fucking teleporting.

I would love to see it go to like 10 or even 16.. imagine a full session where it's one CEO organization vs. another..
redacted
you'd only ever get punished out of sheer bad luck, or from flaunting/bragging about/begging for hacker money.
According to the Securoserv Terminal thingy, my Vehicle Warehouse has already made 1.1 of the 1.5 million I spent back. This isn't counting the modding costs, so lets assume we need to get up to like 2 million to fully pay it off with high end mods, it's still making a shitload of money real quickly.
Wow, I was just doing the race Lift Off, and I got knocked off the track. When I respawned, the checkpoint was in a spot that didn't give me enough speed to make the jump. Good job testing your races, rockstar.
manual aim is undoubtly worse in mobile gta
i'd rather use analog
It's cool that the 3D GTA games are on mobile, but the controls are so bad, that it's not really a viable way to play through the whole game. It's just a neat thing to show your friends.
Do you guys name your character after your username or do you give them an actual name for roleplaying?
My 1st character is named Elena and the male character is named Alex (he is named after some dude I like in real life).
My friend and I like to roleplay quite frequently, we make a neat couple.
Hopped online for the first time in almost two months. Ended up in a server with a hacker who gave me $20 million.

I never have cash dropped on me.
The only thing I ever get dropped on me are sticky bombs.
I really wish insurance was reworked so that it wouldn't apply to aggressors. Someone threw stickybombs at my Insurgent and I started shooting. I accidentally shot the one in his hand, and had to pay 12K out of an 80K profit and got a vaguely threatening "BAD SPOT BEHAVE OR ELSE" message.
For defending myself, I was punished and he gets off scott free. Whoop-de-fucking-doo.
You only need to worry about bad sport if you blow up like 100 personal vehicles within a short period of time.
Hasn't the fine you get for blowing up another players PV disabled anyway? iirc it was because cheat menu guys found a way to use it to drain money from other players. I know you still pay for your own vehicles if you destroy them. But I haven't been charged for destroying someone's vehicle for ages.

I have no idea if character name or if social club name appears above you so I just called mine 'Nomad' and 'FemNomad'
