That research thing makes me feel it will only be available in sp. I really hope closed session players won't get too shafted. And i hope we can do the special customization and weaponized vehicle customization stuff in the bunker as well and mpt only in that mobile command center.

Pretty sure this won't be any different. Who knows, it might even end up worse since import/export started a thing where they added anti-disconnect measures to penalize players who deliberately screw with their connection for solo work. They could very well take that to the next level here.
So I have a bit of a question concerning vehicle customization. I know that normally you don't put Whitewall Tires on anything but classic cars, and even then it's a bit of a stretch sometimes, anything else and you're bordering on tastelessness that would astonish even dictators with all golden furniture. Where do they fit in on motorcycles? Where can I get away with them on my renovation of the MC clubhouse fleet?
They did? It worked fine for me though. I played solo open often for it.
I think he is referring to an issue where if you lost connection to a public session while sourcing/exporting a car, sometimes the car would just catch fire for no real reason.
They did? It worked fine for me though. I played solo open often for it.
If you're in the car when you disconnect, it will catch fire and explode. If you get out beforehand though, it won't.
Ah i see. That is not that bad. But i do hope they for once don't do a dumb. I can barely do any import/export stuff with friends since open is such a minefield

People going around in chrome Zentorno's and everything, some white walls on a motorbike will be p tame in comparison
If you grinded hard for buying a car, you deserve to use whatever customization and color options you want. If people have an aneurysm because a virtual car in over-the-top action game like Grand Theft Auto has a different paintjob from its real life counterpart, then it's their problem.

Thanks, everyone. I realize now that I should probably care less about what other people say or think if I can help it, so long as it doesn't screw over others. That aside, I don't get why co-op jobs segregate based on aim preference. Like TDM I can understand because one person with an aimbot is going to shit all over the people trying to aim manually, but contact missions and heists I don't get. Let me try and pull off headshots with a rifle while the other guy lands multiple bodyshots that knock him into cover while I try and claw his eyes out with a spoon for cockblocking me horribly.
I did my best to replicate Tekkadan's logo, but it would've been worse if I didn't find out that you can use image overlay apps such as Ghostit. [thumb]http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae251/Sonic911229/emblem1_zpsts2gsbak.png[/thumb] Here's the original image. [thumb]https://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/gundam/images/0/0a/TekkadanSymbol.png/revision/latest?cb=20160128140454[/thumb] I'll slap it on my military rides when I get a chance, but here's a link to said app if anyone wants to make replica emblems for their dummy crew. So I managed to complete the Humane Labs heist with three randoms with me having joined it out of the blue, and we succeeded in two tries. We died right as we were extracting the ground team, and then we made it out. What I want to know is, why the hell isn't the Prison Break like this where if you die at a particularly important section, it starts you right back at it instead of going "YOU GO IN THE TIMEOUT CHAIR, START OVER" if one of the three people working entirely independent of eachother fuck something up?
Rockstar needs to add a revive function to heists, might give you a second chance if your team is full of idiots who get gunned down easily.
Is there any decent way to get money these days? I haven't played since the VIP thing became a thing. I know that you cant get shot with money anymore, but that's it.
Is there any decent way to get money these days? I haven't played since the VIP thing became a thing. I know that you cant get shot with money anymore, but that's it.
On the "legit" way of doing things, CEO has access to vehicle warehouses and cargo warehouses. Vehicle warehouses require you to steal cars and then sell them later on. Cargo requires you to buy cargo which you will sell for a profit later on(this requires a lot of time and I personally think it's not worth doing when there isn't a bonus on it). It's also possible to buy a clubhouse and form a motorcycle club. MCs can do missions from their clubhouse that pay a regular amount(similar to the VIP work that is launched from the interaction menu) and can buy biker businesses which require you to resupply so staff can create product over time. Vehicle warehouses, cargo warehouses, and biker businesses are restricted to public lobbies, but this problem can be solved by blocking the right ports to get yourself in a private public session. There isn't really anything else new that pays as well as these things sadly. On the less than legit side of things, there are plenty of cheaters in public sessions who sometimes just give people tons of money. A bunch of people seem to be getting interested in some group that is giving out cheated money, but I personally don't think seeking out illegitimate money like that is the greatest idea.
Where were the competent people during the 2x RP/$ Heists? I just completed Pacific Standard in about twenty minutes, they were three randoms, all with mics and all capable of following directions, we managed to get a SWAT van without me knowing the exact process after I gave them some instructions, and I'm 344K richer than I was before now. Today was fucking incredible, and I'm glad there are some people who aren't mentally damaged monkeys.
I really hope that we'll be able to use those gunrunning special vehicles in other CEO or MC jobs, because escorting a shipment of coke with SAM trailer would be hella useful in crowded lobbies.
I really hope that we'll be able to use those gunrunning special vehicles in other CEO or MC jobs, because escorting a shipment of coke with SAM trailer would be hella useful in crowded lobbies.
I don't see why they would restrict it. We're able to use the current special vehicles outside of Import/Export work.
So, in a hypothetical scenario, how exactly are you supposed to play publicly hosted races with contact on? It seems like everyone in races is an asshole and will deliberately spin you out, and also TIL that maybe free-aim isn't as effective for filtering out dickwaffles as I hoped, because someone using VIP work to spawn an infinite ammo Ruiner decided to fuck up everyone else's day, and then his friend seized a turreted vehicle so that he could keep it for as long as it took and it wouldn't get destroyed. I feel like in general adding a K/D ratio was a massive mistake, because people are going to focus on it more than anything else and do everything in their power to inflate it, all while being a massive tumor that needs to be removed but won't, and a British man by the name of Ben Croshaw won't have his wish of a violent twat fumigation fulfilled.
me and some pals finished a heist so we decided to celebrate by going and getting some suits, then just fucking around we get to ponsonby's and there's an absolute racket outside, gunfire and explosions more than just your average pub city. I turn around to see what can only be described as a biblical wave of chaos come down the street on the other side of the shop glass. First thing I lay eyes on is a buzzard coming down the street about 3 foot off the ground at full speed, which then explodes after being hit by a destroyed car that was sent sailing through the air. One of my pals is still outside before getting hit by something so hard that his body came through the Ponsonby's doors. Just as I'm about to say, "what the fuck?" an armored boxville comes full speed down the street like something out of Mad Max, complete with machine gun fire and random explosions. The boxville makes it halfway down the street before exploding into a fireball, killing the three organisation members inside. I'm just left looking at this streak of pure chaos down the road, which occurred within about 10 seconds, while the clerk NPC spouts their "let me know if you need anything" line
I kind of like when cars start creating flames when they're about to explode. I like to pretend I'm becoming ghost rider but with a Trashmaster instead of a motorcylcle.

Joining public lobbies for races is a mistake as tons of people leave shitty settings on. About free aim not filtering out assholes, I wouldn't expect it to. It just makes it harder for certain people to be a cunt because they can't aim. You can probably expect more tryhards and more people who rely on vehicles to kill though.
