Rockstar has said something http://www.pcgamer.com/heres-rockstars-statement-about-take-two-shutting-down-gtas-openiv-modding-tool/?utm_content=buffer227bc&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=buffer-pcgamertw
Yesterday we reported that the lead developer of OpenIV, a modding tool that has allowed the GTA games to be modded for nearly a decade, had decided to shut down their mod after receiving a cease and desist from Take-Two Interactive, publisher of the Grand Theft auto series. While we have not received a comment from Take-Two, Rockstar just sent PC Gamer its statement on the matter. Here it is in full: "Take-Two's actions were not specifically targeting single player mods. Unfortunately OpenIV enables recent malicious mods that allow harassment of players and interfere with the GTA Online experience for everybody. We are working to figure out how we can continue to support the creative community without negatively impacting our players."
So basically, its what we've known for ages. R* is all for SP and external multiplayer mods, its T2 being assholes.
what the fuck is going on with PS4 players I've been kicked from at least 15 jobs this week and at least 3 lobbies for no reason whatsoever did I piss off the wrong guy or something?
what the fuck is going on with PS4 players I've been kicked from at least 15 jobs this week and at least 3 lobbies for no reason whatsoever did I piss off the wrong guy or something?
People tend to be very protective of their public lobbies, and don't want randoms coming in to fuck their shit up. Now that the easy methods to get into a session by yourself have been patched, it'll probably happen even more now.
I hope if I wait awhile my balance won't be reset. Some dude dropped a small amount of cash that I didn't need because[sp]I already got 200 million from a different cheat,[/sp]now I don't know if I would be safe playing again[sp]or when it would be easy to cheat money back[/sp]
It will have already been reset. Don't bank any money given to you by modders. Buy a garage and fill it with shitloads of X80s GTA Online: Money Laundering Simulator
Banking money makes literally no difference, the game sees it all the same. [editline]15th June 2017[/editline] I've never really understood where that came from, my only assumption has been people assuming that because the money is "on the character" then it must be local to the machine as well and Rockstar can't see it. When the reality is that its all on their servers, and its probably stored in adjacent cells in the table they use for record keeping with players.

When I logged in after the update, I was told my balance was adjusted by X amount and all the money in my bank had gone. I kept the money that was in cash. It's widely known that Rockstar track the bank transactions for suspicious activity. I don't know why, but that's just how they do it.
what if you spend the money?
So apparently there are people going around spamming money on people in public lobbies to get other people flagged for cheating by R* and to get their bank reset
what if you spend the money?
You keep the goods. Hence, buy a shitload of X80 and then sell a couple of them when you need the money after Rockstar fixes money accounts again
Actually, I've pulled all my house garages into the office, so I am ready to launder with like 40 slots!
So, cheat money through whatever means, stock up on a shit load of X80s, if your money gets reset, you got your X80s as backup so it doesn't matter.

GTA Online teaches you valuable life lessons.
GTA Online: Money Laundering Simulator
Hezzy pls, you said that at the bottom of the last page.
Another method for converting cheated money that is very time consuming(but would probably be less likely to be detected) would be buying five large warehouses, all businesses, and then filling all of them up. The full large warehouses would give you around 11 million alone. The businesses wouldn't give you as much, but every little bit helps when things are as expensive as they are in this game.
Well i just realized GTA V is just officially dead for me because of: 1) Gunrunner DLC adds a time wall for research and offers subpar cars/weapons 2) Money got reset after a modder dropped money on me 3) Take Two shuts down OpenIV Perhaps future DLC makes it more attractive, for the time being im looking forward to RDR Online

I'm trying to make a little bit of cash by collecting crates and delivering them to my warehouse, but about 1 in 3 deliveries make absolutely no change to my warehouse stock levels. Ie. I've got three crates worth $22,000. I deliver two more, it says the job's done, and then I've still got 3 crates worth $22,000. Anyone know why this happens? It just kills my motivation to play.
Wow my bf got shafted so hard with his cocaine lab. We were in a session with the both of us in diferent organisations since i needed to deliver some cars, and then his cocaine warehouse got under attack. The second he arrived, one of the enemies got the minigun bug, instakilling him and making him loose the event. And as a result he lost a warehouse, 600k in cocaine as well as about a mill of warehouse upgrades. I had no idea the business in the game can shaft you this much, jesus
Ive already fucked off online, had mt online account since release on the 360, had a level 80 character with a decent amount of money, a bunch of apartments and cars then once i ported my character over to the pc, and started using a trainer in a private lobby with a friend i got my account permabanned while my friend using the same trainer got banned for a week. This game is fucking stupid, i had such high hopes for it and the amount of hype built around it to just turn into a rockstar/take two cash grab is just painful. GTA online should have been taken less seriously, allowed modding, dedicated servers whilst keeping the money idea for perhaps, official RP servers or something? The amount of dedication could have been spent on working on singleplayer which is and always has beeen the main component of the gta series They seriously should have taken notes from SA-MP, MTA anf gta4s multiplayer, the latter was as simple as it could have been, but me and my friends still managed to spend hundreds of hours dicking about in it, even without trainers Like fuck, gta has always been knowen for using cheats to push for more enjoyment out of the game, the grind just made it more interesting.

(Which is bad enough as it's quite easy to die during that attack and there's no warning that death could cost you a lot of money.)

I've been killed during a business raid and all that happened was I lost the stock and supplies, the staff were cleared out and the business shut down, requiring me to do the first set-up mission again to get it going. You do not lose the upgrades that you paid for. If this has actually happened to you and you aren't making it up, make a support ticket. Otherwise I call bullshittttttttttt

I think what's funnier is that i had 300 million dropped on me and still have it all when it got wiped just because i never banked it Cyalater losers [editline]16th June 2017[/editline] Seriously though not banking your money does seem to work well, considering that i STILL got all the money
