The problem is a lot of these guys have no idea how to take advantage of cover and the like so they drain away whatever limited lives the team had, especially if your doing hard for cash grinding reasons.
Then teach them. Try to help them. Or kick them and they never improve and turn in to a dickhead in a Hydra with a victim complex down the line.
Yeah I could've used help the first time I joined a heist, I just got yelled at by Russians every time someone died :saddowns:

Dude. I tried doing The Pacific Standard job for the first time yesterday with this pair of Russian + random. The heist setup went okay with no real problems, but the actual heist was just restart restart restart restart for what seemed like no apparent reason.
In the end I just quit, not worth it
IIRC people kick low levels because their max health is way below a level 130's.
The only times I've seen low levels grinding heists properly were people on their 2nd characters or people with mics helping their low level friends. In which case they can actually be taught how to play.
Most low level randoms die very easily (even at higher levels), a low level random is an accident waiting to happen.
tbh hydras aint shit the worst are people who shoot into clothes stores while you're trying to buy shit
I had a fucking level 5 do that to my yesterday then proceeded to go into passive right after.
Like how much of a fucking autistic retarded do you have to be to try and pull that edgy move?

I remember when I failed one of the lowrider missions a while back, some Russian dude started shouting at me over the mic. So I started shouting back with random lines I remembered from STALKER and we got into a screaming match even though I don't know any Russian

I did yesterday for a few hours. One of trevor's heists (the setup one where you get on the garbage truck and grab bags). Me and another guy who were around level 50 ish couldn't get anyone but these two relatively low level (between 10 and 15) guys, so we went through it with them At first we stopped at each bag site, killed all the guys, loaded the truck and left.
While me and the host were fine with that, the lower two couldn't really keep up due to losing all their health/armor by the gas station stop. So, seeing that, me and the host had them stay in the inner most area of each bag stop (each area is generally a circular ish alley way with enemies coming in from both/all sides) and grab bags/peck away with their pistols while we kept the enemies at bay. The problem was that if me and the host weren't as persistent and diligent as a Jehovah's witness, npcs would either slip by the cracks and wreck the lows or we'd start draining health and armor like a motherfucker so that we were the ones dying by the gas station.
So next, we tried running to each spot as fast as possible, grabbing the bags, and running out to the next spot. This worked a bit better as long as the npcs were out of their cars before we left so they didn't chase us. The problem is, if you don't sit there and kill off all the enemies at the gas station, they too join the chase on the final stretch and it just becomes a train fuck because the lowers don't have the health, armor, or guns to take out all of them and there's only so much we can do.
[sp] Started typing this this morning, only had a chance to finish now.[/sp]
Series A Funding is the highest effort in terms of setups there is and the heist itself is not far off, either, I avoid that shit like the plague.

Still not as bad as prison break though. Plus, the setups are kind of fun, especially the one where you raid the yacht and steal the coke.

i dont think the setup is bad I just cant stand trevor/ron throughout that entire heist and the finale is boring, then you have the unskippable cutscene at the end which goes on for a lot longer than it needs to.

Honestly that last cutscene is a bit disappointing because other than the money (and not a lot of it at that) it feels like all the work was for nothing seeing as all your goods get taken by the police.
I hope that halloween update is soon, I want that tron bike dammit.
I hope that halloween update is soon, I want that tron bike dammit.
You're gonna be waiting until the 8th of November for that tron bike.
The guy on /gtag/ that told us all about the update (and actually got it all right, mind you, he said the raptor/daemon custom would launch with a 6th property on the 11th which it did) said that we're getting the Skeleton bike and one of the other bikes tomorrow, with the tron bike and a adversary gamemode on the 8th of next month.

Darn. Either way though at least it's coming soon.

This was also earlier this month so who knows, maybe Rockstar might've changed when items are coming.
I have a feeling that tron bike is going to be the equivalent of the zebra donkey in RDR, in that you instantly become targeted by jealous players.
I made another clips video.

The video quality's kind of bad because reasons.
If you mow down random people who are trying to get shit done, yes.
I mostly stick to these sorts of shenanigans

Driving into the finish marker, then host leaving.
Other members get money, host doesn't but can just restart the heist at any time.

Does the reset trigger when you log into Online? My money is still intact last time I checked.

Yeah it'll trigger when you load if you've been "caught".
Yeah it'll trigger when you load if you've been "caught".
Well shit, here's hoping I didn't get caught in this wave [sp]but then rockstar pushes out more waves in the coming weeks, whoppee[/sp]
Number of affected players is, at time of writing, rather small, mostly consisting of players who received illegitimate cash within the past few weeks, had ludicrous amounts banked (9+ digits), or blatantly abused the pacific standard repeat glitch.
No vehicles, properties or other such things are affected, just the cash on hand of each character and shared bank balance between them.
[editline]t[/editline]
The formula they're using is roughly as such: ( current balance - total cheated money obtained ) + shark cards purchased = new balance

This means that any previous shark card purchases - even ones you've entirely spent - will increase the amount you're left with after the corrections. Players who did not buy any and spent more than they earned legitimately are left flat broke.
