They'd be fun at the start, but soon they'd devolve into "run around trying to find the last fucking guy so you can move on or wait for this car to circle around the block so you can actually shoot it without leaving the gang war area".

They've also turned into a "oh god, why is there a fucking gang war here? I want to fuck around here, not fight sone stupid enemies! The airport near Trevor being the biggest convict of this.

Why the fuck are both Pegasus spawns outside of Los Santos fucking gang attack locations It wouldn't be as bad if they didn't have a random gang member run up to you and engage for no reason

Is there any way to check how many gang attacks you've completed? I've been meaning to do all of them, but after 3 years, I still have no idea how far along I am. It doesn't help that they only appear on your map at certain times only when you're near them.

Ive been replaying gta iv recently. The shootouts seems much more real and fun. Rockstar really fucked up on 5's gunplay. Max payne 3 and RDR gunplay are miles better. On GTA IV the gun sounds are loud and menacing while 5's gun sounds alot like BB guns. The recoil are stronge a little exaggerated) and feels like im actually shooting a weapon. Plus the ragdolls are more fun and the AI is a lot more diverse and smarter imo.

Gang Ops are disabled during VIP work.

The one good thing to come out of this big money wipe is that most players with modded accounts have fucked off. Pretty much everyone I encountered with a modded account was some Saudi Arabian prince that griefed everyone and shouted at them in snake-tongue.

I think R* tried to reset all my outfits because I wore the police uniform and well, it's freaking the fuck out because I was wearing it when I got disconnected. Game crashed and I have been disconnected 3 times now but I'm still wearing it, so they're having a hissy fit. Just loaded Gta to check if my cop outfit was there still and it was thank god. Even though I rarely ever wear it.

I was guarding the boat, and my friend was in a Hydra clearing the air. Pretty much everyone was off the radar, so I was backed into a corner just waiting for someone to come up the stairs. It felt like I was in the movie, Jaws.

I remember when Hunt The Beast started in Free Mode started and me being the righteous player I am, I decided to go and take out the beast. I hopped into my Hydra and approached to the guy, I started blowing up an entire intersection and the beast just didn't die instantly. It survived direct fire from the Hydra. Then the guy fired a ticket and it hit the cockpit and for some reason I didn't die. We didn't know what was more fucked up, him surviving direct fire from a Hydra or my Hydra surviving a direct hit from the Homing Launcher. My Hydra was on fire and it lost a wing, I said "Fuck it, I was gonna die anyways" and just held X until the game said I killed the Beast. I managed to jump off the Hydra and land safely with my parachute, then the guy playing as the Beast texted "gg" I still don't know how I didn't die

That reminds me of a time some people in a server were doing piracy protection or whatever the yacht mission was. They had some guy out of mission in the normal jet that wasn't part of their crew defending them so they had air support that no one could really bust through. Of course, my friends and I decide to fuck with them and we kill them over and over again outside of mission to the point where they rage at us. Some of their crew left, but the grand finale was when I chased them down the heliport and bombed the CEO's hydra with a sticky bomb as he tried to take off. So many foul obscenities were screamed that would make the pope vomit in his hat.
