Two reasons:
A) These people wanted that name as their crew for whatever reason. Same line of thinking that leads people to name their crews "Achievement Hunter", and screw that group out of using their actual name for their LPs.
B) They don't give a shit about roleplay, they're more concerned with A)
I joined a Prentiss Tigers crew in GTAO just because I wanted to have "TIGR" as my Crew Tag (it fits with my PSN name).
I have FAPS unactive because it increases the chances of people thinking that I'm a dude (FAPS sounds like a masturbation Crew).

Apparently., If you're doing the MC contract where you need to steal money from a vault (I think it's called Cracked). You are given a duffel bag which can be saved to your outfit at Ammu-Nation

in missions that give you a duffle bag your character actually switches movement style to Michael's to avoid clipping, and it looks fucking weird on females

No, female characters have their own animation set.
Was in a MC today with 6 others and we had this one very [i]persistent[/i] player, who kept using the Hydra.
Boy, what a piece of work, 3 of us including me and one other with a Helicopter were busy keeping him down so our planes could do the shipments, he still got 2 down, he kept using passive-mode at first to get to the Hydra and so on,
but after a bounty of mine and later when GTA wouldn't let him go passive anymore,
he switched to CEO so he had both 'Off The Radar' and 'Ghost Organization'.
He was apparently pissed that I got him down like 3 times and kept trying to hunt me.
Abit later when we got him down, he got grinded by the whole MC with 3 Hydras and 2 Insurgents over and over again, was fun.
Scary thought that all of that was caused by a single Hydra pilot, if there were more... *shudders*.

There wouldn't be more because then they would be killing each other.
Source: I kill other Hydras so they can't annoy other people.
What I do to finally stop people is getting an Insurgent Pick Up and drive it to the rooftop of the parking lot near La Puerta. You can destroy any vehicle spawned at the hospital's helipad from there.
The Insurgent can survive direct fire from an Hydra multiple times, I use a lot during Stand your Ground and Executive Search
In populated sessions, organizations and MCs usually have one or two guys flying Buzzards or Savages patroling common Pegasus aircraft spawns. (Hospital in south LS and the one near the docks with multiple helipads).
By keeping these spawns in check, you force them to drive all the way to the airport or drive to the county. (Gives you a fuckton of time)

I've noticed that grinding cash is p. easy if you just get some random low levels to join your mc and farm search and destroy. Especially if you just use a vehicle with lockon missiles because the bonus for correct streaks isn't particularly good as far as I can tell so it doesn't matter if you just slaughter them all. The low levels won't bother to go out and do the task so you're pretty much good in terms of competition. Also, as long as you do the s&d's by the alamo sea, most randoms in a public session won't bother you much.
From my experience, as long as all the lows don't leave you should make about 25k a run of it (<10 minutes long?). Much more reliable than missions and hiests since you'll always be getting the same stuff/difficulty and the chance of fucking up is entirely dependent on yourself.

I'm fairly certain it's just people who are being lazy and I can understand at times, the character limit is shit and creating a decent org/MC name can be a bitch.

I'm wondering if y'all could let me know if this sale would be a good time to buy the PC version. I last played on the 360, and i have a gift card that would cover the Steam release, and there's a lot of stuff that's been added since the last time i played that looks pretty dope, really. Good time to buy, yes/no?

To date, the Dump is still the most fun $1m I've ever spent.
Nearly any situation in GTAO can be made more entertaining for everyone involved by rolling up in a Dump.

Roll it into a big group and right away you're likely to steal the show. It draws so much attention it can sometimes stop large-scale firefights, as everyone rushes over to either climb onto it or steal it.
Quite the ice breaker, if I do say so myself. Certainly seems to get people talking, even if it's just a cascade of "lolwut" in the chat.

my friend bought a clubhouse and we were thinking of names, we resorted to that one episode of the simpsons where homer starts a biker gang called the Hell's Satans. another option was the Christ Punchers
Is the MC update any good? I haven't checked it out yet.
