Indeed, but how much will that actually contribute to flowing and enjoyable player experience?

Things that would be worth a damn, or at least rescued from pointlessness: Muggers (for more than annoyance), the bank, low-end apartments, any building with a laptop in it and nothing else (there are over a dozen), the interiors of yachts, the "browse the internet" feature of high-end vehicles, and of course, the countless ATMs dotted across the entire map.

I'm kind of annoyed that R* are continuing to unbalance the game whilst making certain features redundant just for the sake of player convenience. Gun stores are now only useful if you want to buy or customise your weapons, you no longer need to visit them to buy ammo because you can do it from the interaction menu, this just enables players to spam explosives with no downtime. Bull shark and armour can also be purchased in infinite capacity as a CEO/VIP. If an MC is chasing you and you kill him, he can just instantly teleport another bike to his exact location and keep coming after you, making your effort kind of pointless. I really wish we could get a hardcore mode, with phone banking disabled, no hacky instant vehicle spawns, reduced ammo capacity for all guns (9999 rounds for every gun is BS), reduced explosive carry capacity (each player can carry up to over 100 individual explosives, including rpg ammo and stuff). A new blip system where you only show up on the map by shooting and driving fast within a certain range of players or when you have a bounty/wanted level. Something like an intel system where you can see what business activities players are doing from your phone or laptop for a small fee or something instead of everybody knowing exactly what you're doing all the time. Basically hardcore mode from RDR, but tinkered for GTA. But it will probably never happen because nobody cares about balance and more interesting gameplay when they have convenience

I was joking about the data/coverage thing. Yes I know that sounds like "I was only pretending to be retarded" but I was dealing with my phone service's awful coverage at the time and felt like saying that. Edit: I do like the sound of a hardcore mode though. Only point of silencers right now is to -sometimes- keep the cops from being alerted so having a real use would be nice.

I'd probably play GTA Online more if there was a hardcore mode of sorts. Another feature they could add to a hardcore mode is don't blip you on the map when you're doing CEO/biker work. It could still alert the session that you're doing it, but not blip you exact location.

I'd prefer is player blips were hidden normally, and getting a wanted level or killing another player would highlight it for a time. Then just add a feature to Lester for scanning the whole map for players. Keep the radar invisibility just for those times you don't want to be seen at all.

What button is it to go into the featured playlist on PC? I've never once had any of the loading screens on PC actually show PC controls, it's always Xbox controller prompts despite me not even having an Xbox controller or having any controller plugged in.

[editline]31st October 2016[/editline] Also, I just played some of that featured Halloween playlist and holy shit I just noticed how retarded the scoring system is for some of the jobs. First, on Slasher, I killed the slasher once and then killed 5 people as the slasher afterwards and yet I had the lowest amount of points after the job ended. Secondly, on Come Out to Play I killed one of the runners on the first round but then lost the second round as a runner and then the game decided that it means I have 0 kills overall and again gave me the lowest score.

Quick question, think GTAV will be cheaper in the Winter sale or should I just get the 40% "Halloween" discount?

well, i just took advantage of the Halloween sale yesterday. Got my old character imported and established again. Is there a steam group for Facepunchers? I'm already in the crew, same name, DChapsfield

well i got thoroughly spooked tonight I was playing freemode, in the same session as Eerie and guicool, and a guy offered Eerie and I an Uber at a special Halloween discount he drove us to the mine shaft, which i hadn't seen before, having last played on 360, and we explored it with flashlights. Then i turned around and an unnamed guy with a balaclava and a hatchet came running out of the darkness to attack me. [sp]It was just the same guy, but with a mask and off the radar. Nonetheless it was properly spooky and i almost shot him before i realized. I genuinely didn't know if Rockstar had added some NPC into the dark interiors to freak people out, it was fun.[/sp] also i tipped him $20 for great Uber service.

GTAO is enough of a grind as it is. It doesn't need mandatory ATM visits.

Idk if this is well known or not, but on PS4, you can easily lag out of a public lobby by moving your system clock ahead one month. This also works in races, so if you're losing, you can give yourself an easy win.

That rat rod is the first vehicle in a while that I've shown absolutely no interest in.

It's because there's no easy way to send someone a message out of the blue on PC. Either add them and send it on SC, add them and send it on Steam, or send it without adding them and risk them never seeing it on either.

Is there any disadvantage to porting a character from a 360 Live account? I want my police uniform you can get from a glitch (I don't know if it's been patched) but does it lock you out from anything exclusive somehow?

Rail Gun in single player, and a few cars online, Including Blista Compact. But I'm pretty sure they disabled doing it cause of people buying modded accounts for PS3/360 then porting to PS4/Xbone/PC.

The Rat Rod seems like the laziest thing Rockstar has done so far. It's basically a tornado without a front cover and it has no visual custom options.
