That deadline stuff is definitely one of the better adversary modes since slasher.

Not only is Deadline one of the most fun adversary modes I've seen added to the game, I was going to buy that bike even if it was terrible. Far as I see it, this is the best outcome we could've had for it. Buy the bike that looks really cool, or buy the cheaper one that does just as well on a track, there is no wrong answer.

On the upside, if you buy the bike, you can use it out of Deadline and get better at using it, or hate it. Or just look cool.

I'm not even joking when I say the first time I played, I won 2-0 overall with only one death the whole game. [editline]t[/editline] Tips for those of you who want an edge: - Try to stay in front of at least one opponent - Avoid being behind anyone at all costs - If you can't, stay on the outside of an opponent's trail, closer to the edge of the map than the center - If you can't do that either, break away ASAP, before your opponent turns inward and traps you - Approach your opponent perpendicular to their direction, never parallel, and ensure you will meet in front of them and not behind - Look for gaps in an opponent's trail, points where it is not on the ground; this can save your life on some maps where there are jumps - If you think you are trapped, slow down as much as you can and wait for an exit; unless the circle around you is very small, you can almost always escape if you're careful and patient - Use the boost powerup while approaching an opponent perpendicularly to cut them off and force them to turn very suddenly - If after the above your opponent turns the same way you're going, try to keep them on the inside of your trail, and keep swerving in their direction to force them to react - Use the bunnyhop powerup to cross from the inside to the outside of an opponent's trail and gain the advantage, to avoid a cutoff attempt, or to escape a tight circle you might've been trapped in In short, [B]get in front of whoever you can,[/B] [B]stay on the outside of your opponent's trail, engage at 90 degree angles only, and if you lose your advantage, find an exit immediately.[/B]

This is the first adversary mode where I have yet to be defeated. Right now I've won 9 matches in a row. I only engage when I have a boost or when my trail blocks most of the road.
