I wouldn't be surprised if the "leaks" are just Rockstar's marketing department coming up with a new way to create hype without making a trailer.
It certainly works. And if true i bet they are having an awful lot of fun with it too.
I wouldn't be surprised if the "leaks" are just Rockstar's marketing department coming up with a new way to create hype without making a trailer.
Would make sense, R* are notorious for not having any leaks before now (except the RDR map, but that wasn't an internal leaker I think). Would take a lot for someone to risk his career after most people have already left GTA :v:
I wouldn't be surprised if the "leaks" are just Rockstar's marketing department coming up with a new way to create hype without making a trailer.
Eh, Rockstar are pretty antsy about this sort of thing and are incredibly anal about things like NDAs and beta/unreleased screenshots being in artist's portfolios. It's more likely that they're trying to keep a tight ship but can't because of badly-implemented security and loose lips, than being a deliberate ploy to drip feed info imo.
He means that they usually release a trailer on the Thursday before a update. They didn't for biker update though, that trailer came on the same day that update launched.
No, but with Bikers, they announced the release date along with some more screenshots after the initial announcement.

I don't think GTAF drama was part of their marketing strategy.
200 million dollar heist in campaign, and it's a cakewalk. 1 million dollar heist in multiplayer, and you require 1-2 hours of prep work, 1 hour of doing the work, and some sick strats.
And you still only have a 1 in 10 chance of completing it successfully. Also multiply that 10 by 10 for each random on your crew.

They're like 10 times more accurate and take 10 times more shots to kill.
The only way to kill them with 1 shot is by headshotting them with any sniper rifle.
headshotting them with any weapon usually kills them from experience.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/b5ZkNX8.png[/t] First person stunt races for life. [editline]4[/editline] Seriously, this is a surprisingly good racing game.
'Ok we're going to need a name for this pseudo social media account' 'What about Rockstar Faggot?'
AFAIK that is just a nickname other users gave the guy, and he went with it.
headshotting them with any weapon usually kills them from experience.
It seems like they broke this rule with the CEO/Biker enemies, or I just haven't been getting headshots on them.
It seems like they broke this rule with the CEO/Biker enemies, or I just haven't been getting headshots on them.
As far as I know, the only thing from those updates that ignores headshots are the bodyguards in Headhunter. I don't think I've encountered anything else shrugging off headshots normally unless it was the usual GTAO problem where enemies start eating an insane amount of bullets without dying.

Man, I wish the first person camera felt a little better. It's interesting how both camera views have their own advantages and disadvantages, but first person gets shafted a lot in combat so those advantages are often overshadowed by the disadvantages, the low FOV doesn't help. I like shooting in first person, but the AI accuracy make it a complete drag, because it just becomes completely obvious the game wasn't meant to be played in first person, and they basically designed the AI to contend with the auto-aim of players using controllers, which is probably why they're so damn accurate. Even some lowly gangster with a handgun shoots with the accuracy of a pro contrary to their firing stance.
In a weird way I'm proud of my discount Big Boss outfit, but it's a sad reminder Online misses out cool shit like eyepatches [thumb]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/97222190041612352/4D277906DCC468E557A9A60410A8BF74CA9CC9FC/[/thumb] on another note thought i'm flat out fucking dying to know what the newer elegy and comet models look like
I really don't like these first place/rp requirements for car parts. Silver and bronze medals should count towards the progress.

Get a friend in a lobby and start "Criminal records". If you set it to one round it takes 20 secs. to finish the race. Your friend can go do something else while you are just racing, voting to restart the race and start it directly. It will take a bit longer in the lobby because you have to wait until the game force starts the race but its still quicker then doing normal races. Did all mine in an hour or so.

Another gripe with GTA V online are people in jets terrorizing players. The homing missile takes like 3 hits to kill a jet (I THINK) so it's very expensive to deal with jet trolls. I don't know how the police wanted level works, but imo I think if you kill another player while in a jet, there should be military intervention ie NPCs in jets.

If it took more than that, the jet may have outmaneuvered the rocket(really easy to do), lag may have made it seem like the rocket hit, or the guy in the jet is cheating. My personal advice would be to switch to the Heavy Sniper when dealing with jets as it's hitscan and it's a lot less expensive than homing rockets. You can also combine it with bullshark to do a shit ton more damage with the Heavy Sniper.

NPC combat aircraft are very broken. Jets can fire their forward-facing cannons in any direction, so they can one-shot you as you fly behind them. Buzzards can fire both miniguns in any direction independently. It's really fucking bad
The influx of menu users is crazy again, all because Tom released Sirius to the public. Going to be hilarious seeing them all getting banned.
Fuck man, I'd almost be willing to risk it just to have money again.

It's getting harder to maintain an empty public lobby. Randoms join so quickly.
