Rockstar's problem now is that they have to match the quality of the Elegy Retro with every subsequent car release, that said the current dripfeed cars look to be matching said quality although it cannot be said for how they drive as we don't know yet. The Comet Classic has an insane amount of mods for it, as much as/if not more than the Elegy Retro. Honestly they could have really screwed it up, based on some of the previous DLC cars they've put out. I'm glad they didn't half-ass it and instead gave us something that really feels worth the asking price. Is anybody using GTA V Redux? I've tried using it about 7 times, followed the installation instructions perfectly, but after the launcher closes, the game won't open. It says the application is running but it's using zero resources. Anyone got any tips for that?

Redux is a shitty compilation of many authors' work that was included without credit. Whether or not you care about the moral side of it, the fact of the matter is that the creator most likely doesn't understand the workings of the stolen mods and as such has made an unstable mod. It doesn't look like it's had a single patch since release either, which would explain the issue you're talking about as Import/Export has likely broken it.

The only one I know that's in redux is ERO, but other than that I can't find any of the originals

Some of Rockstar's decisions just don't make any sense, and if they put the BC in compacts it would fit right in during races. I've sold off most of my other muscle cars, but the Dukes is still my top fav.

Ok so a friend of mine did some testing with the vehicles in SP and he found out the following. The destroyed ruiner in the wastelander mission is an actual functioning vehicle which can be customized at LSC. The ramp car and phantom wedge will blow up after a certain amount of cars, no matter what. It does not matter of you spawn the special version used in missions (which can be customized with a spoiler) or if you literarily give them vehicle invincibility, they blow up after the same amount of cars no matter what. Also aparently you can customize the technical aqua at LSC?

What's the point of giving us a vehicle specifically designed to hit other vehicles that will blow up after doing it's only function

to be fair the Dukes is pretty shit anyway, you'd only be buying a slow car that looks [I]ok[/I]

You probably won't be winning against good drivers in the Racing Dominator or the Sabre Turbo Custom with it, but it's still a pretty decent muscle car.

Not to mention some people aren't buying their cars solely for MP racing scenarios, and in that light who cares whether or not a car is faster or slower than another car. I can have just as much fun going off-roading in a slow ass truck like the Duneloader (wish it had 4WD tho).

I have to say, this has been one of the best updates so far. Combined with MC work, you can make some decent cash, most of the missions are actually fun, the new ambient OST is hella rad and the new clothing options are pretty cool.
