I mean I really enjoyed SMTIV and I know I'm gonna love Strange Journey when I get it but man it'll be nice to have a proper console SMT game again

why would you want any games to only be on a more expensive console, there's nothing to gain from a ps4 exclusive smt game like atlus released tons of shit on the ps2 when the ps3 was out and that was great i do not comprehend

P5 is on both after all Shit even if I didn't own a PS4 already, I'd want them to make an SMT game on either PS3 or PS4 cuz it's about time they make current gen games on the current systems. Atlus ain't exactly gonna start making PS2 games again dude, and PC is very very unlikely[/QUOTE] i was just confused that everyone seemed really excited about buying a ps4 for a game that was on the ps3 as well. atlus wants as much money as possible, which releasing on the ps2 allowed them to do (cheaper development). similarly releasing on both the ps3 and ps4 (which is the outcome I want) means they have larger possible audiences (and also that i will be able to play it in the next century because fuck buying a ps4)

And fuck, you're probably gonna end up buying a PS4 anyway later down the line, so you might as well get it for P5 if you're gonna get it for anything

Even if I didn't wanna buy a PS4 though I wouldn't really see the problem with the making exclusive titles, me or others not being able to afford the system yet doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to do that kind of thing. If it gives me a reason to get the system, I'll gladly spend the money for it when I'm able. It's kinda like how Bayonetta 2 is only on Wii U. I'm probably not gonna get a Wii-U in a long time, but at least the game exists for it so I can play it when I eventually get one. If you make a new console and tell me it's gonna be my one stop box for playing SMT games I'm pretty damn okay with throwing money at it. P4G was pretty much my only real motivation for a Vita, and P5 and later exclusive titles are why I wanted a PS4.

No one even mentioned PS4 exclusives though except for you, everyone said they were excited we're getting current gen models of all the demons because of what it'd mean for new console SMT games Those of us who DID get PS4's for P5 got them cuz the game is gonna look the best on that and it's as good a reason as any to get a PS4 Plus if they port their later games to both that just makes it an even sweeter deal

I didn't even get a ps4 just for P5 so this is just a win-win

I'm getting a PS4 for P5 just so I can play it one my vita, I'm sure the PS3 version wont have remote play and I enjoy RPG's way more on a handheld so I have no choice.

Times change and so does technology, you can't get hung up on the past and then get pissed when others go with the natural flow of things.

PS3 was one of the worst systems to develop shit on because of how overly complicated it was made to be. PS2 was very easy to develop on and PS4 is the same way.

either way sony is probably paying lots of money to keep P5 sony exclusive. watch as other smt titles this gen come out on xbox and possibly pc, but persona stays on the ps3/4.
