I'll admit that I'm not very familiar with mainline, but that felt awfully Persona.
Honestly if it weren't for the Awakening characters I would've thought it was the trailer to some game trying really hard to be Persona.
As far as content goes, I'm very skeptical about how the game is going to turn out.
The first trailer teased us with characters we can identify right off the bat, but this one baffled me on the roster. There's barely anyone I can recognize in a blink of a eye.
That... was not what I was expecting. I don't really know what to think.
I'll give it a chance but i hope with later trailers we get something that at least feels more like SMT. Like, you showed all the protagonists from SMT and shit, why not bring them on?
Hell I didn't even see any recognizable demons or anything
Did we maybe get the wrong idea? Like, is this more meant to be a cross over in terms of game design rather than actual characters and world? I don't really understand
At this point it seems like the 'crossover' was more of an excuse to have an Atlus-made JRPG exlusively on the Wii U than anything distinctly Fire Emblem [i]or[/i] Shin Megami Tensei. I see some concepts, they say characters are there, but it might as well be something entirely different.
Part of me is hoping this is just kind of a super elaborate April Fools joke or something
Even if it's not, I'm sure it will be a good game in its own right, but wow i really don't get a vibe other than Persona and maybe a small bit of FE, but the crossover seems to end there

Sounds like besides ATLUS and the Persona-style bits, the actual Shin Megami Tensei angle has almost literally been dropped. Still worth keeping an eye on due to Atlus for obvious reasons, but the crossover part's basically nil.
Yeah the trailer was a bit confusing, were they summoning fire emblem classes or something? Couldn't really understand what was going on.
One thing I did like though is how the other people in the overworld and cutscenes looked.
and game complete, somehow the final bosses don't feel all that hard at all, though prehaps having the harem party been all level 94 might have helped, the constant barrage of power charged god hands ,mind charged Agidynes and constant full heals might have had something to do with it aswell

The fourth Persona 3 movie is called "Last Episode". It's also not the last movie, so it seems as likely as ever that the fifth movie will be based on The Answer.
After a long ass time i finally decided to bite the bullet and force my way through the 4th dungeon in PQ. Man, that was a slog. Now i just gotta take on the boss.
I got soooooo close to winning, but i wasn't prepared for his end gimmick the first time. Gave it a second try... got unlucky and got party wiped when he was right about to die.
Ughhh. Glad he isnt a pushover, at least.

I dunno, I thought it was pretty funny when everyone ingame was panicking about his gimmick and nobody ever got hit by it.

No I wasn't talking about his attack moves, those aren't a problem.
[sp] I was talking about Endure, when he gets up and refills his health almost halfway. I had wasted all my SP on a final assault on him thinking it'd kill him, but he got right back up at the end and no one could heal[/sp]

I forgot all about the DLC during my playthrough.
Now it's pretty much not worth the trouble. I would've liked to hear Theo's input on things.
