Most people I've talked to who've played it tend to like the first one more, but i very well could have just happened to be around a minority of people who disliked it

Personally I'm not that fond of Yu's design. To put it in comparison, I've got an Aigis despite playing maybe an 8th through Persona 3 Portable (before she even appears) because her design is cool, but I'm not getting Yu despite having beaten Persona 4 and watched the original anime each week as the episodes were subbed back in the day. Combine that with the ridiculous price (more so if you want the jacket extra) and there's better figmas to buy with that money. (I still need to find a cheap-ish Labrys...)

P4 side's battle music and the first 3 boss's music is some of the catchiest shit I've heard.
It's up there with Mario and Luigi PiT, BIS, and DT.

Yeah I'm kind of the same way with Yu. I really like him as a protagonist but that's more cuz of the attachment I've gotten to him over the games. ill probably get that figma later if possible after I get the other figmas I want
it still saddens me that they never make any figures of the P3 protagonist cuz i'd buy one of him in a heartbeat
