Megami Tensei Series [Spoilers Inside] - Arrested for Youtube crimes - Games

I like 4 but I don't really mind the spin-offs, don't buy them if you don't think it'll be good? I mean sure it's annoying sometimes but 5 is coming and all so I don't see why it's that hard to ignore it.

I can get why the spinoffs would bother some people but I don't really see a problem with them since they ended up being enjoyable games anyway. If they were actually bad to play I would care more, but I don't really see a problem with them making spinoffs if they actually give a shit about making them, which they evidently have given the quality of each one. P4A and P4AU were solid fighting games and Persona Q was a good mix on Etrian style games (though the whole canon / not canon thing was definitely stupid imo) I mean spinoffs are spinoffs, regardless of their canonical integrity the whole point is they're avenues to try new things or do something different. Persona 4 was pretty perfect for it since it's the most popular one. If they ever were gonna get a chance to make tons of entries in a particular game, I'm happy they did it with the one that's the least serious out of all of them and not something else.

I'm sad we don't get the 300$ version of the game that comes with a new vita and a statue of Yu Narukami

I mean sure some of the P4 spinoffs are ridiculous, but Arena and Ultimax are fucking 10/10 and Labrys is the best character in the entire P4 canon. If they hadn't made spinoffs, we'd never have this.

Ultimax is pretty fun though, finally I can live out my dream of beating up inferior waifus as my waifu.

I want an Aigis action game that isn't a mobile title. She's super agile, can graft guns onto her arms and use magic. Probably not happening 2 games later though.

The conceit for the fights actually was pretty neat when it was laid out, and I loved being able to see things from other characters' perspectives. That was a problem with P4 for me, where your party members just kinda screwed around or focused on investigating, and all their character development in social links was directed at you, a blank slate, or tertiary characters. Being able to see these events play out from other eyes made me like and sympathize with everyone a lot more. Yu was pretty easily able to clean up the problem, but what happened when Chie was the one who had to solve the case? It was a pretty big ordeal for her, and interesting to see through. And even though Labrys only had one token fight in her story, it had me hooked all the way through. I love those SEES guys, but Labrys really should have hopped on the Investigation Team. That's how the whole deal works! Maybe it was a bit of fatigue jumping right from Arena to Ultimax, but it seems like they weren't trying anywhere near as much. Fighting all the fake shadows, that apparently couldn't just jump off of fake Tartarus for the dumb plot reasons, became a by-the-numbers boring task to work through. Having the P3 guys show up and then hang around and do nothing bothered me at first, but being able to replay it with them solved that. I couldn't really care less about Sho, also. He just a huge brat that tries to half-heartedly copy the final bosses of 3 and 4, while trying to come off as a SUPER COOL RIVAL for Yu. Playing as Labrys at the end made me feel a bit better about it all, since Yu was being pretty self-righteous about BONDS at Sho, but not by much. Still though, they were both pretty damn fun to play, and it kept me going to the end. I can't imagine what spin-offs they've got planned for Persona 5, and if they can keep this train going, but it'll be cool to see.

Yukiko's really fun to play as, which I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm also not so good at fighting games, although I'm slowly working up to playing online. PS3 is still alive, usually from about 5-6PM GMT onwards, though where people are from varies wildly. I was playing just a while ago but having not played for like a month, I sucked ass and got destroyed (and somehow got put down to light blue, I'm officially terrible according to player colour lmao). I tend to have a fairly level amount of wins and losses, though. There is a nice spectrum of players in lobbies. Some are amazing, some are terrible, some will put up a good fight, and some will play in a way that helps you learn how to fight better. Player rooms tend be full of higher level players who want to play endless serious fights, but you can make your own and hope for the best. I myself will probably be playing some more Ultimax later. I'm down for playing with anyone if they want as always, though you'll have to add me on PSN etc etc

That's the point. Putting the most modestly dressed girl in a revealing outfit is just a cute gag, really. If you make her wear it in game she points out that it offers no defensive capabilities and how embarrassed she is to wear it.
