Some old guys set up a game shop in an abandoned aircraft hanger. The selection of PS2 titles alone was like a small EB Games (though I'd say a fair chunk of it was pre-owned Buzz! games). Purchased all this on whim.
Item of interest is bottom right, SMT Digital Devil Saga 2. Is it actually good or have I wasted a third of my 3-for-20 deal?

DDS 2 is good, but you wanna play the first one before playing 2. Story takes place directly after the first
What's that word marketers loved last decade? Killer app, or something?
Because P4G was the driving reason I bought a Vita, and if it means I get to play a game with music this good I'm sure as shit buying myself a PS4.

I won't be able to call myself masterrace at this rate.
Just get a PS3 for like $100. Or even cheaper by summer next year. I'm hoping that the PS3 version isn't a lot worse than the PS4 version, but looking at trailers it seems like they're going for an art style that should work well on the PS3, instead of needing tons of raw horsepower.

I'm working barely ten hours a week at the cushiest job on top of doing an easy IT course and also receiving ludicrous student welfare payments that overshoot my living expenses. Factoring in crippling loneliness, I've got so much time and money on my hands that I might as well get both eventually :v:
Only reason I didn't bother before was I simply had no reason to purchase a PlayStation.
I like what they're going for but the vocals sound a bit rough

Persona 5 is getting an anime?
I'm sure that the ingame version will sound better and that it'll grow on me then, but I still like what they are going for.

Also thank you Atlus for uploading that awesome Soejima drawing segment on youtube, + it has that awesome boss theme playing for 1 hour!

Posting the translated trailer that hasn't been taken down.

Yeah. Sounds great and all but I'd like it a lot more if they refined the vocals a bit, sorta hoping that isn't the final version but if it is I wouldn't mind.
Also, have a rip of the PV 03 theme from the art video posted above (with increased volume gain!)
EDIT: Nevermind, atlustube took it down for copyright... I'm a bit offended they didn't go after other rips, though.
Huh, I just realized that it sounds like they took a few cues from SMTIV's boss theme for the latest one.
What the hell is this map supposed to mean? http://persona5.jp/tgs2015/
There's 159 geotags in Japan, one in Toronto, and two in the same spot inside a Scottish cancer research centre

I think it has something to do with this, but I don't actually know.
All I could find was a couple of posts on Reddit, looks like you're supposed to scan the QR code on the poster and then it puts your location on the map as a part of a promotional thing they were doing for TGS. Supposedly the ones outside Japan are just ones people activated by visiting the link the QR code lead to (which is now defunct).

Are those prison bars? Igor finally got done in for casual drive-by kidnappings for the sake of reading their horoscope
You know what, after seeing some more English gameplay of Dancing all Night I actually think Ashly Burch is a pretty good fit for Rise. She still sounds a bit too much like Rei but for the rest she's pretty good.
I got Dancing All Night today and have been playing it for a few hours. Thought I'd share some first impressions
Ashley Burch isn't as bad a fit for rise as she was sounding before. Granted, she's still no replacement for Laura Bailey, but she makes do and sounds fine most of the time and seems to get a bit better as the game goes on. Even for the missteps in her direction, every other character's voice acting is great as usual.
The story so far is surprisingly interesting, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised since no matter what the context is, the Persona team always finds a way to make an interesting story.
The actual rhythm game play is great too, very addicting and fun to play. The music fits very well and all the remixes really help make familiar songs sound fresh. It's a lot of fun and I can already tell I'm gonna sink a lot of time into this!

We SMT [del]now[/del] in Summer 2016 。゚(゚´︵`゚)゚。
Holy shit I love how broken Persona Q can be. The buffs work by percentage and stack so you can get ridiculous levels of damage from single hits.
I've got Kanji with Uprising, Rebel Spirit, Dragon Cry, Heat Riser + enemy Debilitated, Shura Tensei to triple his damage and Demon's/God's Bash for some extra boosts. I'm doing 7000 damage and murdering the endgame F.O.E.s in two hits, one if Heroic Gemini activates.

Try SMT2, you can buff yourself so hard your stats roll over and become shit.

I think she does ok, like its passable. She reminds me a lot when Matthew Mercer first got his Kanji gig in the animation. Like he was off but he was almost to where Troy was. He has it down for sure now.
It hurts a lot that it was Laura Bailey she replaced, which are some big shoes to fill. In a Rise centric game no less. If only Atlus scheduled VO sessions at a time where Laura was free.

Oh yeah, it would have been loads better with Laura Bailey and its a shame that the game where Rise is a star in it is the one where Laura can't be in. The comparison to Matt Mercer is pretty good though, she's not perfect by any means but she sounds fine and you kinda warm up to her voice as the game goes on. Somehow I think they picked her worst lines for the trailers
Man I really love Eleonora's character design:
[T]http://i.imgur.com/uPWPeWY.jpg[/T]
And her Virion persona/demon/mirage looks cool af too, looks like it came straight from JoJo:

The more they show of this game the more I want it.

Virion's in Genei Ibunroku FE? Hot damn!
Ehhhh I want the super edition of Dancing but it is $100 here
While on the topic of voice actors which Naoto voice is your favorite, considering shes had quite a handful?
Valerie Arem does a really cute job in PQ, but Mary McGlynn got her androgynous voice in the dubbed anime down pat.
In terms of being in character, I'd vote McGlynn. The voice was extremely charming.

Her original VO is still unknown i think and she worked on P4, P4G and P4A
McGlynn was Naoto in the Anime
The Valerie took on the role for P4AU, PQ, and P4DAN. She just sounds kinda close to the original but a tiny bit higher in pitch.
