Do you guys know when pre-orders are up in the west?
We don't even have a release date for the west, so pre-orders won't be happening at least until E3 since I think it's possible we will get some release information.
We don't even have a release date for the west, so pre-orders won't be happening at least until E3 since I think it's possible we will get some release information.
I thought it was still having a simultaneous release for the west and east?
I thought it was still having a simultaneous release for the west and east?
I haven't heard anything about this. I'm waiting for Atlus USA to give us something regarding the western release.
Started to play Persona 3 for real this time. The first section of the dungeon is going just great. [sp]Get murdered by the trio of Birds at the fifth floor, then i get iced by the first enemy i encounter of the first floor, and then i encountered The Reaper on the first floor on my third "attempt". You don't need to guess how well that went. [/sp] Okay, at least you taught me that i can't trust you, game.

Really hoping they'll get it right this time, I'd prefer not to import, but I don't think I can wait 3 months like I did with Persona 4 Golden.
I thought it was more like a year for you guys?
It's really not. It's just a couple months, Persona Q and P4Dan was like 2 months. Same with P4AU. The whole concept of it taking a year comes from people who are over dramatic

[editline]9th May 2016[/editline]
I thought it was still having a simultaneous release for the west and east?
It's not been confirmed, so until E3 I wouldn't make any assumptions
Isn't it going to be even harder now that NIS America won't be doing the publishing(for both EU and NA)?
Isn't it going to be even harder now that NIS America won't be doing the publishing(for both EU and NA)?
SEGA's gonna publish the games now I think, hopefully that'll turn out good.
SEGA's gonna publish the games now I think, hopefully that'll turn out good.
This is the part that gives me the most hope. SEGA is a publishing powerhouse and owning Atlus now should mean faster localisations, sent to more places simultaneously.
Scans of the new girls are coming out
Girls in winter clothes make me giddy Moe truly is the boner of the heart And I'm glad I can read some of that stuff now. Caption on middle says "Shut-in genius hacker" (which we already knew about her)
seamless turtleneck blazer plaid leggings short hair jesus fucking christ she aint no naoto but shell do
I dunno if she's a foreign exchange student but the girl with the poodle puffs for hair is annoying me. Just specifically her school/casual outfit. I think her dungeon crawling outfit is fine.

Also I can't tell if it's really cool or really lame that Niijima's persona is just a motorcycle with a face.

She's supposed to have a posh / elegant look about her, which that hairstyle and outfit help to convey
http://personacentral.com/tokyo-mirage-sessions-fe-localized-dlc-list-revealed/ Well, SMTxFE has been censored in DLC, some outfits in the main game are also censored too.

I completely understood aging up Tsubasa, but everything else seems pretty unneccesary.
Apparently it's more than we thought. (LEAKED INFORMATION, not spoilery but still.) [sp]>>No major script changes There's already a major rewrite on Maiko's job and the motivations of the boss of the second dungeon, and that's as far into the game as we know about regarding the localized script. >>Japanese audio That they redubbed to retroactively fit to the rewritten script, something that to my knowledge had never been done in a game localization before. >>Characters got a single digit change in age For no reason, but this isn't among the things I was talking about. >>Less than half of the lewd in the game got covered up No, everything barring Tsubasa's swimsuit in one attack animation has been censored/removed and that's again only up to what we've seen so far. And it's mind-boggling because none of it is remotely close to being stuff that would bump up the age rating to an M. Pic related is in a T-rated Atlus 3DS game for fuck's sake.[/sp] http://archive.is/aGNAm http://archive.is/1IjCP http://archive.is/peu33
Biker girl is actually Nanako as theorized by a twitter guy. Minus the uh, red eyes.
Fuck Nintendo. I don't have a Wii U so I was never gonna get it but still. wow this article fucking rips into them http://www.gamezone.com/originals/opinion-tokyo-mirage-sessions-localization-is-historically-disappointing-k06i
It's certainly not going to pull in fans, and I know it has cost them more purchases than it gained. ... Seriously, who is this aimed at? The fans you slapped in the face by creating a new, unwanted version for their countries? The professionally offended, that were never going to buy it in the first place? Little kids, who know nothing about Japan and abandoned your awful tech for smart devices? Oh I know! The self-masturbatory portion of neogaf that likes to applaud censorship because they don't like Japanese or sexually suggestive content. Surely the haters paying lip service will bring in the big bucks, not the weebs like my now distraught wife. Fuck weebs, their opinions don't matter because you're offended by things they like, right? Tokyo Mirage Sessions had two niche fanbases, Otaku and JRPG, and it just threw one of them under the bus harder than any fandom in localization history.
It's even worse than I thought then. That's genuinely very disappointing. I really would like to play it and enjoy it but goddamn that's a lot of stupid stuff they're doing.
I figured she was foreign cause of Adieu~ in the trailer.
A lot of people say that who aren't french though, plus Mitsuru said french phrases a lot (english phrases in the JP version) The only one who's foreign atm seems to be Ann since she's a quarter American

But that being said, so help me, if anything significant censored from P5, I will be here alongside everyone flipping a bitch.

The only reason this is happening to TMS #FE is because it's being overseen by Nintendo of America. It's not really in Atlus USA's control [editline]11th May 2016[/editline] The worst thing Atlus USA does is not give you the option to use JP audio most of the time, but besides that they keep the scripts, artwork, and everything else as true to the original as they can, and if they do ever have to change it they are very upfront about it, like with Dungeon Travelers 2 they had to remove some CG's from the game due to the ESRB or something, but they explained that clearly to everyone and I think even posted the ones they had to remove.
Didn't they also change Teddie a bit, by making bear puns instead of saying "kuma" at the end of nearly every sentence? Hopefully Sega will give us a choice to use the JP dub.
