The Morgana voice acting on the other hand I'm worried about. I'm hoping the actual game will have some emotion behind it. As long as part way through, they don't make a VA too big to return for the role. Lookin' at you Troy Baker, can't be bothered to return for Ultimax or DAN, but fucking hell you'll do an iPhone game

He might've been busy with other projects when those games were being localized

Troy Baker has done a ton of voice work over the past few years, so his schedule has probably been pretty hectic. If the producer can't accommodate a schedule and they have a go-to replacement, then they have to use the replacement.

I doubt it's that bad with Persona 5 but sometimes changing certain assets or elements within a game can cause technical problems and with this being a new engine,they might not have the proper documentation to handle those problems(Not all the people working on localizations can speak the language that needs to be translated). Again this is all speculation based on my limited experiences and what other people have said.

It's probably unlikely, but I hope we'd get to see someone from Persona 4 like Naoto in Persona 5

They've sorta shot themselves in the foot with that one, if the game explicitly takes place in the same world as the previous two (And the second half of P2), then there is 0 reason for Naoto to not show up in the plot if the main characters get any notoriety, considering that she's kinda obsessed with the whole comic-book detective chasing down the masked criminal deal.

Plus to be honest Matt Mercer sounds almost the same so I don't think much was lost there other than his name. There's a myriad of reasons they could come up with to prevent her from coming to Tokyo to stop them, especially since one of the party members [sp]was revealed to be a detective[/sp]. Wouldn't be much reason for her to appear in that case since that'd mean someone was already looking into it.

I fucking hate how SMT4 does it's neutral ending. They had the perfect recipe in Strange Journey -A neutral choice, a Law choice and Chaos choice- and now i have to fucking juggle between choices here. (This is a bit spoilery so i'll just black text what i'm about to say) [sp]I got to the end and i juggled between choices, however when i THOUGHT i got just enough points to get the neutral ending, one of the whites just said "nah bro it's too late for that, enjoy your law ending faggot". [/sp] Worse part is that due to my DS nearly dying on me, i had to make a save when i arrived at [sp]Blasted Tokyo[/sp] so i wouldn't lose my progress. I skipped around the prologue, are all lines going to be voice acted now? That was one thing that surprised me in Persona 3 (only jrpg I've played). I assumed every line was going to be voiced but most things weren't.

They have one liners when they speak or make an expression but they're not reading all the dialogue. Same thing happened in P3 and P4. The major story bits will be voiced.

I pre-ordered Persona 5 Take your Heart Edition because I'm on a collector's edition binge.
