Megami Tensei Series [Spoilers Inside] - Arrested for Youtube crimes - Games

I don't think any portable system can run a game like this anyway without severe downgrades so go for it. Also it took [b]YEARS[/b] for portable versions of 3/4. I'm fighting this stupid piece of shit mementos boss and I don't know what to do. Fighting is also a very... generous term. [sp]He keeps brainjacking my entire team turn 1 with a 100% accuracy rate and it's just over instantly. If anyone survives for it to wear off he just cycles back into another first turn brain jack on everyone.[/sp]

Can you fuse anything or get an accessory with [sp]Resist Brainwash? Apparently Pixie and Kelpie learn it and Arahabaki learns Null Brainwash.[/sp] I mean, it sounds like a pretty standard opening move for an SMT boss. Kinda like "Death Flies" from Beelzebub which is "instant death unless you null instant death, then it's just almighty damage".

Then as soon as it's healed or taken care of he just kept reapplying it so the only one that wasn't brainwashed was Joker.[/sp]

I fucking love [sp]the Museum's[/sp] music so much. Also the [sp]Hawaii and fireworks/culture day festival scenes[/sp] are perfect. I love how they do basically nothing in either. Its so un-Persona.

I've never played a Persona game before but Holy shit this games aesthetic and music and gameplay and just everything about it has me fucking absorbed into it fully. It genuinely made me want to call in to work just to keep playing it. I'm only about 2 hours in and I love this game.

SUPER SPOILER (end game character reveal) Unpopular opinion: [sp]Lavenza is the worst Velvet Room member. At least Caroline and Justine could bounce off of each other. Meanwhile Lavenza gets like 1 paragraph of development, and is basically just if Justine let her hair down personality-wise. [/sp] Also, while cheesy, I'll admit I got a bit choked up when (end game scene) [sp]everyone started cheering for the PTs and the poll rating skyrocketed[/sp]

If there's one thing that turns me off of a lot of the side Confidants in this game, its that they always start with introducing one "bad faceless npc". You're talking to your Confidant, and WELP HERE COMES SINGULAR EVIL PERSON TO START PLOT DEVELOPMENT. I wonder if we'll stop singular evil person and help Confidant realize their potential! There's a lack of subtlety in that department, but I guess it's been spread throughout the past Personas too. Its why I like (confidant) [sp]the arcade kid[/sp] so much though, cause they're the asshole in their scenario as well. And its not just one asshole.

Been watching playthroughs of P5 since I can't afford it right now, but hot damn is it something. I got into Persona since my friends got excited about it, so I went through Persona 4 which was a blast, except a few specific bosses because on the PS2 version, some bosses don't have weaknesses, so you just have to get through by buffing and debuffing. The playthrough I'm watching is really frustrating, cause the guy seems to be jerking off while people are talking and just clicking X to go through the chat, then has no idea what he's meant to do since he wasn't paying attention. Also, Captain Kidd's design is the fucking greatest thing I've ever seen. A fucking ghost pirate riding a ghostship like a skateboard, hot DAMN.

Just try to avoid the thumbnails on his VODs when you go through them cause I think one or two might have spoilers.

Getting the game tomorrow. I played and beat both 3 (FES) and 4 (golden) and I've been waiting on this game for years now, I'm so hyped :dogcited:

So the Reaper is super easy... if you do one little exploit. Putting it in spoiler tags if anyone wants to find it out for themselves. [sp]On specific days near the end of the year, there will be a flu season which can sometimes makes monsters in mementos spawn with despair. After 3 turns they commit suicide. The Reaper who should be immune to this, isn't. Great for grinding if you're falling behind, but make sure to run if he doesn't spawn with it. The Reaper will respawn if you run, so just move a few steps away and ambush the Reaper until it does. I can't remember which November days have flu season, but December is 12/8 and 12/9 only.[/sp]

Really disappointed that this game won't be making it over to PC. I understand the exclusivity deal, but still...

And handheld-centric, given how much of the series is on the DS/3DS now.

I'm really disappointed that this game launched without any ingame unlockable costumes.

Like some of the personas are nearly naked.
