if you're not exploiting weaknesses all the time you're doing it wrong. always have personas that cover the other elements your party members don't have.
always buff/debuff. they are life savers.
have a zillion healing items on hand
be a little conservative with SP. you should really only use elemental spells if they're weak to it or strong/null to phys
really all of the tips i can think of. so far i've managed to complete dungeons in one or two days
ALSO GET THE FUCKING SP REGEN ITEMS FROM TAKEMI. THEY ARE GODLIKE AND BEAT EVERY OTHER ACCESSORY.
Jesus fuck (Mid June Spoilers) [sp]Ryuji is so fucking stupid oh my god.[/sp]
DLC is out today. Kinda bummed about the pricing here. $10.45 for the costume dlc and $4.55 for the personas.

[sp]He tries his best...sometimes.
He's a real bro.[/sp]
I just found a really easy way to exploit exp.
[sp]During November 13th-15th and also during December (not sure which 2 dates but it's only 2), there will be a Flu Season warning. Enemies you encounter have a high chance of spawning with Despair which makes them #1 not attack you during battle and #2 after 3 turns commit suicide. Go to any floor, wait for the Reaper to appear and then Ambush him, wait for him to kill himself and reap in the LODES of EXP[/sp]
Some of you out there are cutting it REAL close with sending out calling cards. Date for me is 7/6 btw, so I'm not too far in yet.
here we see the shujin in his most compassionate form

I'm guessing most people are either grinding or following killscottkill's guide which tries to get everything done in the first playthrough.
At first I was gonna put the P3 protag's costume onto Potter-kun for the song, but Last Surprise has gotten me hooked so much that I don't want to.
Wow, Ohya is like, a photoshopped on pair of shades onto a completely generic model.

At least she's got a more exciting S-Link than Hifumi
too bad ohya's confidant bonuses seem really useless
missed opportunity not giving you an evoker as a gun with the P3 DLC
Getting a shiisa with frei is going to be kind of annoying, I have one with mafrei funnily enough.
I want this game but can't afford to buy a PS4 just for it.
I've played about 50 hours of persona 5 so far and I only have one real complaint which is pretty incredible
There's SO MUCH WASTED TIME
Jesus fucking christ we stood around in my room for an entire day and talked about shit why do I have to go right to sleep I'm not tired I did nothing all day WHY IS A CAT TELLING ME I CAN'T EVEN MAKE SOME FUCKING LOCKPICKS I AM MY OWN MAN
I hit level 10 and fused up a Mokoi and made short work of first dungeons [sp] dick monster and Boss [/sp]
Now I finally feel like I can do things and its holding my hand less. But it also scares me that I might fuck up now and ruin things for later.
Question on trying to max Kawakami's SLink (Endgame spoilers)
[sp]Do you need to be able to go to school to max it?[/sp]

I got it as soon as it was available, one of my fused personas had it :v:

The completionist in me wants to follow the guide, but I think I'll probably just save it for a second playthrough. The main tips that I got were that you should always have a book on you, carry a matching arcana when doing S-Links (never knew that was a thing in previous games), and you should always take advantage of other shit that raises your stats without wasting time. Anything else you fellas recommend? Also, can you save scum to help with your lotto chances or is that completely set? Not to the point where I can buy tickets yet, but I'd love to not have any money problems in my playthrough.

IIRC no, since [sp]you just call her and she comes to your house anyways[/sp]

I forgot all about the lotto. I would assume you can save scum it, because you can save scum when crafting tools for that +3 proficiency.
NG+(after doing true ending):
[sp]Fusing Satanael costs about 733k. So be prepared if you want to make it as soon as possible. You might as well max out the strength slink while you're there.[/sp]
I made this comic while I calmed down from another death while climbing the tower.

Ryuji, pls don't miss again.

I stopped trying to fight those guys and just hit em with the weakness and had them fork over money tbh.
I also try to keep a good spread of elements on joker too
IIRC no, since [sp]you just call her and she comes to your house anyways[/sp]
I'm calling her on the days she's available and she says that she's on break.
which is weird because if I call her at times that are not the evening she will tell me to call her on those days

I do agree, sometimes I don't know why I can't do specific tasks despite having time or the feeling that the protagonist is not tired. But the way the game limits you to actions is sometimes really random.
Also I don't like that everyone freaks their shit out when you have to complete a palace in a certain time limit. Sure I get it, but I need time to prepare and get myself set up but everyone keeps stressing. It's rather irritating to get constantly reminded that you need to complete the objective, even if you got like two weeks before completion.
