I was not expecting to be blown away this hard. I was expecting the Catherine like visuals and stuff but just... Wow. The dungeons look like they'll be so much more fun now. Fighting Personas instead of shadows... The stealth like movement... Just fucking wow.

I don't think they'd fit with the tone all things considered.

That being said the new guys hang out at a certain bar so there's a possibility we may see Vincent and his crew just kind of mingling time to time.

Maybe as a P3P-esque cameo, but those actual characters were all American, so I don't think they'd actually show up.

Adachi and Namatame were sinful, and their eyes turned yellow and they basically turned into shadows for their fights.

Could that be what's happening to Potter at the end of the trailer? He's channeling his sins/shadow to form a persona?

Edit: Also we back in Tokyo, combine this fact with fighting demons and Persona 1 mechanics I think we can expect something closer to 1 and 2 then 3 and 4

I think P5 is gonna be hitting an awesome middle ground in between P3 / P4 combat and some of P1 and P2's combat, plus some of its own quirks like the stealth system n shit

Given that all out attacks are still there it probably is still mostly like how 3 and 4 is but the guns and demons are bringing back the classic feel

Ok so on a rewatch a small handful of things I noticed

1: The demon in that Protag is sneaking up on can turn his head and look around. I'm assuming the sneaking thing is to pre-empt attacks easier so it's nice demons that stand still aren't completely vulnerable

2: Whenever MC does a dash or jumps a red spot shows up to show where he's going to land, I'm wondering if the platforming will be freeform (as free form as a RPG gets anyway) or if you'll end up highlighting these points to jump to.

3: HP/SP bar on the overworld styled more like P3/P4's. We only see MC's but the fact it's there leads me to believe there'll be hazards or more dangerous situations in real time.
