More importantly, does Valhalla support facial animations so NPCs can actually talk?
you know there are games made with Diesel engine that have facial animations

it's finally done
Diamond Heist on 193+ on DorHUD v1.3.0 has been beaten
and it contains
mostly tasters cloakers and snipers
about 4 scripted dozer spawns
a really really terrible vault ambush
more snipers
even more tasers
respawning shields
and a bunch of diamonds
thankfully big red isn't mandatory (nor should it ever be)
and right at the end we all heard
"WOLF GOT KNOCKED DOWN"

guys i gotta load a bit, they got circles approaching.
I do wonder how long they'll be with Payday 3
Also how much it'll affect their updating of Payday 2

Unless i am a bad reader and they said that somewhere

I don't actually, I can never remember what it's been used for other than this :v:

There are some good games here, even with it's limitations the engine managed to survive, still Payday 2 shows how old the engine got.
So on the subject of voiceovers, which do y'all figure is the most likely possibility regarding Wolf?
[Agree.] Written out of the game somehow (retired, killed off, etc.)
[Disagree.] Recast as different actor
[Dumb.] Kept as normal, still using recycled Ulf lines
Fuck I don't know, I love Ulf the Wolf. I've been playing him since PDTH, and his character/voice is irreplaceable to me. If he's written out, I'd prefer that he retired because he lost too much of his god damn mind. Maybe replace him Hoxton style, where it's just someone else with the mask and name, but again I don't think it would live up to the original wolf and we would just get this free hoxton campaign all over again. Nothing against Hoxton, I like him as a character (At least in PDTH), but his personality is just a lot more generic to me compared to Wolf's.

Clearly the best outcome is that Wolf goes home to be a family man.
On one hand, I kind of want to see a more open Payday sequel, but on the other, I'm sure we have enough open-world style games to the point where it would really need to be interesting to stand out.
But it's hard to doubt that if Payday were to be more open instead of just the same style as the first and second game, they could certainly be open to more intriguing elements. I know GTA V/GTA Online isn't a dedicated heist game, but the one thing I like about the heists in that game is that you actually feel like you're building up to the finish. I like that feeling, and I think it would make successfully performing a really BIG heist feel a lot more interesting.
I'm aware Payday is inherently differently though, because all the planning is pretty much already done in advance for you, and the stuff that isn't is merely done on the fly via Bain. Overkill would need to find a way to make it so that setting up for a heist doesn't just feel like multiple short days, which seemed to be rather unpopular amongst the community. So, for me, I would like to see SOME heists where you actually set up, not all of them, but some where you actually build up, gather your elements towards that grand finale, and when it's done, it pays well, and feels great.

Hawaiian confirmed as next heister
so today i have learnt that if you want to get blow-out in TH you also have to escape
which is no where in the challenge's description (and it should be like MOST of the challenges tied to achievements of beating a heist under certain conditions.)
what
the
christ

the ending is completely RNG and if you get 2 dozers and you're host you can kiss that blow-out achievement bye-bye
"but you can GL40 the snipers!" you may say but not everyone has time to calculate what angle you need to aim at to fire a lobbed projectile at far away enemies. your best bet is just run past whatever is ahead of you instead of trying to fight it and die*
* if it's two dozers then you bet your ass you're gonna die.

Little info. Hawaiian doesn't say that, Zhorik the guard in 100 Rads bar says it.
"when overkil will add some free content to the game?"
-"like alwasy we do it every now and then. and as you know spring is coming up, and when spring is comming the sun always shine."
Hmm.
So the fact Payday 3 is now in the design stages, and Payday 2 support is winding down... shouldn't that mean the secret should be gearing up again soon?
Yoooooooooooooo, update system update (Heh...) confirmed, or at least they're trying to deal with it:

Late or not every little improvement helps this game to survive the future.

Uh. You missed my point.
What good will an improved update system do if there are no more updates?

There is still this year and a possible another extended year of support.

It's quite *too* early for that kind of questions and it's easy to add support for that feature in the future once the game comes out anyway, since all you need to do is read whether the person has "X" PAYDAY 2 DLC or not and act accordingly. The game wouldn't even need to read your PD2 savedata or anything for that (It's even how the PD:TH Soundtrack DLC unlocks work like in PD2).
they already responded to me, actually
Joakim may pass the idea on
