Spec into the bag moving skills but otherwise pretty much any skill is good. Bank heists and diamond/jewelry store/Ukrainian job are good starters to learn the ropes. Don't use a medic bag until your screen turns gray, use first aid kits instead.
There are a few in game tutorials you should do.

They are going away for a bundle with all DLCs. After the H3H3 DLC release any future DLC will be free.

They're preparing for their Ultimate Edition bundle which will have all the DLC at a price that doesn't require you to be a rich person

I hated that complaining bullshit so much. I paid 20 bucks for TF2 back in 2011 and I don't regret a single cent. Overall players started going downhill so Valve took TF2 to F2P to save it from going under. It revived the game I loved and breathed new life into it for a bit.
I honestly see old good games going F2P as a good thing because otherwise these niche games will just die out eventually. Payday 2 isn't exactly the most popular game ever. I mean, it's not going permanent F2P, but players will find any reason to bitch about how they had to paid money 3 years ago despite the fact that they got to play it 3 years in advance.
Payday 2's fanbase has to be the most stupid and bitchy community i've ever seen
No matter how much good Overkill pulls, everyone will always find an excuse to bitch
I for one welcome our new playerbase, hard enough to find games. As usual PD2's always worked best if you have friends to play with so maybe make some new ones and get some good lobbies going
be nice to the new folks.
Quite frankly OVERKILL could pay for free hookers and cocaine for life for every person who owns PD2 and people would still complain.

the people who complain that they just bought it (if they did) realize they can get a refund, right? pretty sure valve says somewhere if someone buys something, and days later theres a sale on that same thing, they can get a refund and get the game again at a lower price. same thing probably goes if you get a game and then theres an offer to get it for free
There is also people who bought the game on launch, has more of 1.000 hours and still feel like they got robbed (Pun intended).
