I finally caved and bought the Ultimate Edition, so now even though I'm two years late I'm trying out Grinder. It's... okay, I guess. I still like Biker (because you get stuff from team kills) but you need armor for it, I'm going to keep trying different regen decks for my dodge build.
so now even though I'm two years late I'm trying out Grinder. It's... okay, I guess.
Yeah, the nerfed it into the ground from being almost god-like to being "I guess it's usable?" pre-nerf Grinder with an LMG was much fun.
What'd they change? Last I looked it was better than ever. The heal rate was faster, the duration was slightly longer, and I believe the heal-per-tick was better.
just got back into this since I bought the ultimate edition for like 5 pounds but it runs like absolute fucking anus looked up some of the old mods that helped out before but apparently they're pretty much out of date by now what do
Check out LowSpecGamer's PD2 video and ignore the portion where he talks about the outdated shadow stuff, crank the resolution down to the minimum. I got PD2 running a nice ~45 FPS (I capped it at 45) on my Surface Pro 3 that way, at least on Four Stores, which was what I was playing it on because I was planning on logging into my girlfriend's account to unlock her some base stuff before we played with a friend over LAN soon after. [editline]19th June 2017[/editline]
is it me or payday is shaping into a very very good game im having fun with it after 4 months of not playing it
It's always been a good game, it's just been poorly made, full of bad DLC practice, and at a point, had microtransactions that caused a portion of the community to leave and not come back.
I'm having so much fun hosting low-difficulty heists. New players seem to be willing to listen and cooperate to achieve the objective, and I even saw someone with a sentry-gun build!. Hope the new players stay and enjoy the game while they can.
I just wish they did that melee overhaul any time soon.
I just wish they did that melee overhaul any time soon.
Run with melee charged/charging when.
Run with melee charged/charging when.
more like melee slot when
I agree. Melee feels really underwealming. The way meleeing works just isn't satisfying enough. Swinging doesn't hit multiple enemies, no cool ragdoll pushes, and very risky in higher difficulties that aren't Overkill and below. What's the point of having so many melee weapons when most of them suck anyways.
more like melee slot when
Being able to put whatever guns in primary and secondary when? sometimes I really wan't to use SMG's alongside my high concealment pistol for my dodge, but SMG's are stuck in the secondary slot.
if melee have its own slot i bet everyone will start using sociopath more that or sicario with a katana and pretend youre a ninja
How unbalanced this game will be, if third slot from PDTH makes a comeback?
I wonder how will you reload in VR. will it be manual reload like H3VR or will you drag your gun to your "ammo belt" to reload like the john wick vr. there also the "press one button and see your mag go in and out" which is boring imo
How unbalanced this game will be, if third slot from PDTH makes a comeback?
honestly, I don't think it would be unbalanced at all. it would just mean everyone gets one extra fallback weapon in case of an emergency. if anything, a dedicated pistol slot could help break up the current meta into something more varied.
How unbalanced this game will be, if third slot from PDTH makes a comeback?
That'd be an absolute nightmare to balance with all the weapons in the game. Even if the third slot was just pistols, some of them can reliably be used as a primary weapon (looking at you, Broomstick with Precision Barrel). It'd also make the downsides of some weapons less relevant, like how the Saw takes away your primary/secondary.
I just want to be able to take secondary weapons as primaries. I don't need primaries as secondaries. And honestly I'd like to see akimbo moved to secondary slots. I mean it's clearly not a "big enough to be a primary" thing because there are plenty of large secondary weapons that dwarf a pair of pistols.
if we can take things like the GSPS or the damn biker assault rifle I'm p. sure we can take a couple 1911's as our secondary

using Little Friend is basically like playing 3 weapons get yo self a free M308 and Grenade launcher in one sexy hk416
more like melee slot when
I'd rather have a button tap at the ready for when I need to melee in a hairy situation than have to worry about changing weapons and weapon swap speeds and things like that. Just let us run around when charging, thanks.

Just let us run around when charging, thanks.
I'd like a sort of mix between the two, toggle the melee charging with a button, attack to swing. Holding down a button is a pain in the ass. Either I have to bind it to mouse5 on the right side of my mouse, which is uncomfortable, or bind it to something over by my left hand, which takes my fingers off of at least one WASD key. Sprint while charging is included in this, of course. It'd basically be like it's own slot, but it would switch back to main weapons after swinging and if you waited a bit before attacking you would gain attack damage over time.
Trying to do car shop is possibly the worst stealth experience in my life tbh
Trying to do car shop is possibly the worst stealth experience in my life tbh
Worst of all, it doesn't even count as a stealth heist because of the C4
Trying to do car shop is possibly the worst stealth experience in my life tbh
Honestly Scarface Mansion was the biggest ordeal for me.
Payday 2 stealth is like trying to do silent assassin runs for Hitman except 4 people are all using the same controller and bone of them are perceiving reality at the same time
Payday 2 stealth is like trying to do silent assassin runs for Hitman except 4 people are all using the same controller and bone of them are perceiving reality at the same time
it aint silent assassin until I can walk in circles around guards, and jab them with a sedative while they're looking away while im walking in circles around them, and having the game count it as the guards not seeing any witnesses, despite getting jabbed with a needle.
