Someone was working on an unofficial fix. It's mostly functional aside from a few crashing issues, though I'm not sure if they ironed those out already.

Oh man, that reminds me of Tom Banner in Killing Floor 2. Kind of makes me wish something like this was the joke/gimmick heister we stand to receive instead of the coming ones.
Roleplaying in Payday 2 is the best thing ever. I remember I must have played as Max Payne a couple of times in public lobbies.
that's primarily why I like to play Jacket, never do objectives and just run around meleeing cops and if someone on the team asks what I'm doing you gotta type into the chat "I JUST DO WHAT THE PHONES TELL ME TO"

Does anyone have some tips for unlocking that achievement in The Bomb Heist (forest one) in wich you have to have 5 hostages and escape? Or does anyone wanna quick help me unlocking it?
Edit: 1 hour trying to complete it alone. Got 5 hostages (they were cops though) and after having to waste my time with stupid bots, it didn't gave me the achievement.
So I just downloaded [url=https://modworkshop.net/mydownloads.php?action=view_down&did=19109]that one mod that lets you buy masks and mask customization options with Continential Coins[/url], and I don't seem to be able to find the options the mod supposedly gives. I did what the page did and dropped the unzipped mod folder into "mod_override", but I don't see anything different ingame. Am I missing a step? I think I have mods enable, I have one replacing the Chivalry Pack masks that's working fine.

That's in the BLT section, so it goes in the BLT mods folder, not mod_overrides.
(Steam\SteamApps\common\PAYDAY 2\mods)
Be sure that you've got BLT installed.

it's gotta be the 5 civs initially on the map. there's like 3 people by the cars and 2 workers somewhere further in the map. something like that. really shouldn't be too hard if you park some bots near them and you do the rest of the mission.
Wilko probably isn't updating the hook until the beta is finished.

Iirc there aren't always enough civs in the map. It may be based on time of day.

The good thing though is that OVK is [I]aware[/I] that the community wants him real bad. And considering we don't have No Mercy yet there's still a possibility that we can cram it down their throats that we want the guy.
I'd like Francis from L4D1 to become a heister. "I hate shields!" "I hate Bulldozer's!" "This bag of gold is heavy!" I think it'd just be slightly hilarious.
