Raid's gunplay feels shit, and leveling up each class is stupid. Just do payday In WW2 But with new specials cause tasers and dozers and shields don't really make sense. Like everything so far seems to be payday>raid. I guess some like the dialogue and the clothes, but I don't think they're core issues.

I guess some like the dialogue and the clothes, but I don't think they're core issues.[/QUOTE] I like that Raid has a lot more forward progression in its mission design, it's not all just go to objective > put on drill > fight hordes of enemies in one spot for 5 minutes > get loot and leave or put another drill and repeat.
Payday 2 got bunch of that progression type stuff but in form of achievements mostly, kill X with Y to unlock Z.

Unlocks the Suppressed Barrel and G2 Grip for the Clarion rifle" G2 Grip gives accuracy and stability, meanwhile in Raid "Kill 250 enemies with hip fire for Decrease Recoil I" It is quite similar to me at least.
But those don't attribute to your current in-game objective(s), like, at all.
That post was meant to at the "Leveling each class" thing because guns are tied to classes too, sorry about that.
RAID does a lot of things right, but it seems to have changed things, just for the sake of saying they were different, but not exactly better.
Honestly i could do away with classes and characters being locked to profiles It makes playing with random people so much worse as you'll end up with a ton of people on the same class, meaning there is most likely something you won't be able to do as well [editline]12th September 2017[/editline] I also dislike that i can't just switch characters without starting over from Level 1 because the game really loved to give me clothes for characters i don't regular

I started the tutorial with the Recon, made an Assault almost immediately after, and have only played the Assault outside the tutorial. IIRC the bug is that characters made before the update was pushed will not have the option to upgrade any new weapons included.
The beta ends in 5 days so they should really get on that now
Well I thought they weren't upgradeable at all, so that's kinda better

new mission for RAID is good, definitely what I feel like most missions should aspire to. unless they're going for the varied length idea?
And they didn't fix weapons not being upgradeable. This is going to be a reoccurring issue through the games life I feel.

soo, are we getting a RAID thread after the game is out or is this gonna be a Payday 2/RAID thread?
I can't help but wonder just how comparable RAID would be to PAYDAY 2 if it weren't built on top of it. Would it be the same if the game had a completely different feel to it? The core gameplay is kinda similar I guess (group of 4 completing objectives which can be done stealthily or not) but the game does a lot of stuff quite differently to PAYDAY 2 in my opinion and for me right now it seems that the primary thing that makes them so comparable is the fact that RAID is a literal mod of PD2.
They just decided to take so much code from Payday If some of the new raids are indicators though, the raids might actually be a bit more interesting than Payday's heists Especially the one they added yesterday Also I unlocked the foregrip on the Thompson, they made the animations in such a way that the hand doesn't hold the grip, but doesn't clip They put effort into not having to put in effort
is there a fix for the game's offset display? my steam notifications are partially cut off
How does one unlock "Risen Dallas" mask?
Isn't that the free one? Should already be in your inventory. Have you checked it's not already bought into your main stash?
