Also, Nine Lives. Being only allowed one incapacitation is dangerous.

One Down in a nutshell.
One down, more like FUN down. Ya get it...because it's not fun...
Yeah I got nothin.
Something interesting I tried with a friend today. We decided to just get rid of all the skills we had, bring only a Light ballistic vest and guns that usually we wouldn't even try cause they're useless on higher difficulties.
In my 1000+ hours, I feel like this is the most fun I've had with this game. We literally just popped a couple of Hard heists just for fun and it still felt challenging. Like it almost started feeling like that sweet spot that Mayhem was supposed to be. As weird as it sounds, the lack of skills and only relying on your perk deck makes the game feel a lot better.
I can almost kind of imagine a system where it's a sort of "Perk Deck" that you get by combining different cards that give out different effects. A sort of card collecting thing where you mix and match your "Hand" and it spices up the play-style.
In anticipation of the H3H3 podcast tomorrow, I really really hope they actually make some characters for Ethan and Hila, and don't just shoehorn them into the game.
Just started playing PD2 again and noticed that every time I restart my PC my renderer_settings.xml will be corrupt and will crash the game after 5 seconds of being within the main menu.
Deleting it is only a temp fix and an annoyance. Is there's a permanent fix?
Maybe you can set it to read only?
I love when Inspire is used as a first reaction rather 'I can't reach you' tool.
Go down in a fuckload of OD cops, instant inspire, followed by custody 2 bullets later.

I always felt like being revived, inspire or otherwise, should give you a second or two of godmode just to get your bearings back.

Basically, I prefer stealthing on One Down when the opportunity exists. I'm not the fighting type.

It would be pretty dumb if Ethan and Hila had their actual personalities put into the game, as compared to making an actual backstory that Overkill made. These two don't even need to be voiced by themselves!
break the rules is hands down the best payday 2 track, can't stop listening to it
must be something to do with retrowave surge

I'm big into the way the stealth part seems to wail too.

Keep in mind all the memers out there though that want them in game as opposed to a persona Overkill makes up.

Then it's a perfect opportunity for Jacket to go beat their heads in. [SP]Or is PAYDAY 2's Jacket one of the fans masquerading as the real deal?[/SP]

"We want a perk deck that is built around you guys helping each other"
[editline]26th September 2017[/editline]
Almir name-dropped No Mercy when talking about levels Ilija designed that people liked
Hila looks like Joe Rogan talking to Alex Jones.

I could swear i was playing Raid
I think the Almir interview just wrapped up. Ethan said hes about to go to the bathroom, and almir seems to have left the building

Also I got one of those outlaw raids. Seems to be unique missions. It was a folder behind a cabinet in Train Wreck that unlocked it.
-late-
I really do like the look of the Payday models they showed of Ethan and Hila, excited to see the finalized models later.
So Outlaw Raids are exclusive one time Raids unlocked ala Armored Transport Train through picking up a document and finishing the Raid
Operations also seem to be special Raids not unlocked seperately
The Outlaw raids are pretty cool honestly
Outlaw raids aren't just unique missions unlocked through finding Intel, but are also one time use. Failed one and its gone
Tried an Operation and it actually seems to follow more of a Story campaign structure
It was under 1 name but seems to have 6 parts
[editline]27th September 2017[/editline]
One of the 2 that were listed in the operation, that is
I'm actually really excited about the Ethan and Hila pack. It'll be interesting seeing how a co-operative perk deck works in this game. If it works well I'd imagine a more refined version showing up in the next game.
Gold Rush is a secret reference smorgasbord. To say nothing of how much freaking loot there is...
Last Order is also a great raid for progression- you can sweep the whole small map before going loud.
be on the look out for old timey wooden chests because you hold f a million times on em and get shittons of gold bars when you pick them
Am I the only one that thinks Ethan looks a bit like Joe Pesci?
Also I"m kinda disappointed with the voiceline's memeyness. I thought we had our fill with Sydney's Rickroll reference.
why does raid look so fucking ugly
payday was no looker but raid is such an eyesore
Really wish Ethan's model looked less dumb. We've gotten over plenty of "game ruiners" before though (Wick, Jacket, Bonnie), I don't mind h3 as much as I thought I would.
I hope the rest of the voice lines turn down the memes though.

If I have to hear "I feel like Shrek and you're in my swamp" every time he yells at a guard I'm going to break somebody's shins.
