Some people are really angry over things being changed, aren't they? It isn't easy to have security guards patroling and seemingly entering the office where a PC is showing strange numbers and a bar of hacking progress, seriously these guys are pissy!

Raid has better missions than Payday 2. In Payday 2 most of them are just "wait for thing to do thing", whereas Raid has, for instance, a mission where your objectives are to kill everyone, shoot barrels to set the place on fire, and replace the nazi flag.

2 Gold were secured before these paintings, so instead i am pretty sure it just only counts the total loot, and not realise we didn't steal all the art yet

Tried doing Entrapment yesterday with some friends only for us to not get the achieve after 30 minutes of hard work.
Is it busted or something?
Does getting extra loot have any purpose in Raid? I was playing around with it last night and got double the requested gold on Gold Rush or whatever and there was exactly zero change or benefit.

On that specific mission it doesnt seem to, but on trainwreck it counted as a dog tag (added to value of your drop) per extra
It's probably a bug, and since there's an update with a new weapon on its way (theres a poll for which of 3 we wanna see first) it shouldn't be too far off
Where's the poll? Hopefully we are getting the Kar-98 or Arisaka Type-99. Or a DP Machine Gun.

I think the Double Barrel deserves to come first
I mean there's only one shotgun in the game currently, while we have a few MGs at this point
I voted for the pistol personally, not many secondaries, and not like the DB isn't already close to finish as is (assumption cuz enemies have it)
I think what's more the problem with weapons in Raid is that they are so damn far apart from eachother to unlock
You're stuck looking at the same weapons for so long till you acquire a new one
Thompson is cool but i do want to use something else new
I think the problem there isn't even the gap in weapons. Its the utter meaninglessness of the leveling system. Like holy fuck how fucking boring can they make it? Payday 2 at least has some cool and special stuff throughout its skill trees that do more than just a few percentage increases. I hope to fuck they eventually redo it because goddamn its bad.
It'll make having to level up other classes much worse by the time that comes around because it won't be, "Well hey now I'm gonna get a whole new array of abilities to play with! This will be worth the grind!" Instead what it will be is, "Fuck all this again? Is there anything here that is new?"
I love the thompson and it works really great with assault, but why do i need to each level 35 as an Insurgent to unlock its 4th tier?
Like the leveling system is 100% the worst part of RAID. It could literally not exist and the game would barely be impacted by its absence. To be honest I really like the missions, especially the fact the characters talk a lot about what is going on around them and what they need to do, and there seems to be a fair bit of dialogue special to objectives and even certain Raids. Also I love getting to run around the city during Operations. Honestly I would love to see an open world thing like that used in Payday 3 where you can just leave the hideout and drive around to fuck shit up, have places to go for small jobs like Jewelry Store, or like breaking in to a penthouse or something. I end up just driving around the city a bunch.
But fuck why is the leveling system a thing? Why is it, "Ohh, you can get a 5% damage reduction while crouch or a 5% damage reduction while sprinting, or a 2% general damage reduction! Exciting right!"

4th tier is specialized and exclusive to the class each weapon corresponds with, insurgent is the smg class

The primary issue is how long it takes to get to next level. The level cap is 40 rather than 100, so it takes more time to get 1 level than in most games

Entrapment works fine as far as I know. I'll list the requirements and make sure nothing was missed:
1. Complete in stealth.
2. 12 bags secured.
3. Default escape only.
4. No disabling of lasers at the timelock door.

The changes to Car Shop were a massive improvement, way better than I'd thought possible- the original version of the building was straight up not built for stealth, and it's now challenging and fun. I say this as someone who'd solo it as a warmup on OD.

The multiple compounding flat multipliers from number of players, difficulty, and challenge cards are undoubtedly the intended way to speed up the process. Operations also have a massively increased XP payout, iirc.

Yeah, it's a remake of Jewelry Store/Ukrainian Job (it was, like, Iljia's first heist he made), except with paintings instead of Jewelry. There's even a safe in the back you can open for gold.
It's one of the two Outlaw Raids you can get from picking up a document that occasionally spawns on levels.
It's also a pretty easy way to get the no kill cheev.

There is the Montana 5.56 on the Modworkshop, and it actually has more manageable ammo and pickup if that helps.
You know. From time to time I wonder if some of the weird design decisions in Payday 2 we got stuck with might have been avoided had someone other than David "The Dark Souls of Game Directors" Goldfarb been at the helm.
It's kinda funny that the only time Goldfarb was brought up again during the Black Market days, and everybody seems to really have forgotten him since he left
