As far as I can tell, we don't know.
I imagine it won't be anything too insane. Maybe a max of +10% for each. Don't want players getting like 100% dodge now.
Yea you right.
10% extra armor wont save it, but I'll take it.
But like you said, we'll see...
How minuscule is "minuscule"?
1%? 0,1%?
the only thing we can base it off of is that they're claiming it'll never get to something like 200% health, armor, etc. now that doesn't really mean anything because we don't know how large the tree is to max it. i'd honestly wager that anything above 25% at a complete maximization of the tree wouldn't be implemented. dodge probably less than that.
another question is if they'll be additive or multiplicative on dodge percent increase
[editline]24th March 2017[/editline]
have they said when they plan to roll this out because Id like it 20 minutes ago

ah good ol soon TM

I hope for enough time for me to get to infamy 25.
I cant wait that long
I cant wait that long
I wasn't being super serious about that. It's just my own hopes.
There are two people on the steam forums defending this change- everyone else hates it. The defenses are "this is like borderlands", "some people just like to watch numbers go up" and "if you don't like it, you don't have to infamy". I just don't get why they'd approach it from such a slipshod, backwards direction.
I just want to infamy again so i can level up and work for something again honestly
I used to play this game a lot and now it's only like once or twice per update
I honestly just wanted to watch the infamy numbers go up :badzing:, like once you reach infamy 25 the latter ones no longer cost you all your skill points and you would just go up as to not to waste the XP. I really don't think it's going to be fun to lose my skill points all the time, especially when I only play OD nowadays.
No one's even defending the system on reddit. What an own goal this is.
It would've been pretty effortless to
1. increase the infamy cap to 100,
2. spread around a small variety of masks and rewards that don't effect gameplay(such as additional inventory slots and profiles, or the ability to tweak what you get from cards),
3. add an achievement every 10 levels and a trophy at the cap, and call it a day.
It's pretty transparent the devs started with the desire to imitate badass ranks, realized the pushback that would occur from tying infamy to stat boosts directly, and are applying Continental Coins as a way to still include them anyways.
I am beginning to think there was never a design document.
Reminds me of how everyone complained that Infamy 2.0 sucked because it was just stupid numbers and cosmetics with no gameplay bonuses.
I don't really get infamy and the people who seem to be crazy over it.
Though, I do like seeing numbers go up and experience not wasted, yet, MORE infamy levels isn't one of the things I was hoping for, 25 seemed like enough, but if we're just going make it virtually infinite, I guess that's okay for the really avid players. I guess that satisfies that niche group that actually wants to grind to the end of time. I would have been satisfied just seeing the infamy tree levels with just experience boost gaining something else besides just that raw boost.
I honestly didn't mind infamy offering minuscule bonuses, but it seemed like the people who take the game's meta too seriously ruined it for others when it became expected to have those bonuses, and to hell with you if you didn't have them.
i was gonna try out the PD2 demo to see what's different between it and current-day PD2 (i assume it just takes the current PD2 version and limits what you can do with it.)
but i was greeted with this

well for starters the first letter in the entire sentence isn't a capital, not letting you download the demo "because you own the full version of this product." telling you to install the full version of the game without even checking to see if you have it installed.
back in my day you could own the full version of a product and still also have the freeware/shareware version installed as well. what gives valve?

If I remember right the demo is just the game, Armored Transport era (So few weapons, different skills, Houston being Hoxton, ect) but with only Bank Heist: Cash and Watchdogs as the heists to play and the max level you can become is about 10.
You could do steam://open/console and type app_install 251040 in the steam console
[editline]25th March 2017[/editline]
or get steamcmd and open it through command prompt then type app_validate 251040
How the hell do people get so many coins anyway?
Do they just farm Safe House Raid on normal w/ pubs or something?
Because this entire time I thought you only get coins if you respond to your own raid.

You mean theres other heists than just Safe House Raid????
I finally made it into the games credits

I've made it in life
did a "speedrun" of diamond heist on 145+ with two others and got a 7:36

then dorentuz told me dussel has a 7:09 on 145+.
i was the only one who went for boxes
first dorentuz gets a 1:45 on overkill
then he tells me dussel has a 7:09 on 145+
my diamond heist speedrunning carrier might as well be fucking dead. (i still say that a 1:43 is the best theoretical solo time.)
and if you don't know who dussel is let me TL:DR him for you
PDTH speedrunner and the person who taught dorentuz. (dorentuz taught Signor Tromboncino/tromboncino. another really good PDTH player. also my inspiration to play PDTH [and a reason why i wanted to do LOCOVERKILL challenges.])

Continental Coins:
1. You get one for about every million XP you earn
2. Six for completing a safehouse raid (host or not)
3. Six for completing the safehouse daily job
4. Six for earning a trophy
5.(with goonmod) One (or any other number you set it to) for completing a gage package set.

tfw you have to decide between grabbing the last bag of gold and helping your only other surviving teammate up

I figured as much.
Always wondered why Crime.net has nothing but Safe House Raid at all times, and how people have so many coins that they can upgrade the safehouse twice over with leftovers while I'm bearly scraping by with trophy rewards and still didn't finish the basement.

The proposed boost system is going to make it much worse.
The new boost system seems interesting enough that I might pick up the game again.
The proposed boost system is going to make it much worse.
I can already see the elitists who enforce the meta like the fucking bible during the dark ages kicking people for missing 1% in their health boost, because they didn't grind Safe House Raid hard enough to be rolling in coins.
Still, it doesn't bother me enough since I'm rolling solo anyway and I'll likely grind the masks/trophies and then keep going just to see how high I can get before people automatically kick me on entry for "being a hacker".

Grabs some freebies while you can.
Damn, hit by too many activation attempts from the guesswork.
Oh well, my first successful attempt was a duplicate, bet the second one would have been taken already too.
you know gang I'll say it
i've waited years to say it
I can't stand that the heist where the gang goes undercover is called counterfeit
and the heist where the gang is shootin' everybody up is called undercover
