The original Undercover was better, nothing like hearing Bain say every 10 seconds: "Opposite building, lots of sniper sneaking on you."
I can already see the elitists who enforce the meta like the fucking bible during the dark ages kicking people for missing 1% in their health boost, because they didn't grind Safe House Raid hard enough to be rolling in coins.
Still, it doesn't bother me enough since I'm rolling solo anyway and I'll likely grind the masks/trophies and then keep going just to see how high I can get before people automatically kick me on entry for "being a hacker".
This is such a ridiculous overdramatization that it aint even funny.
Like will others even know how many boosts someone has? Even if they do, do you really think people will start kicking for having 1% less health or whatever? People shat their pants over boosts being "mandatory" as in you'll get kicked for not having them. And nothing happened...
How will this be any different?

Yes, they will. Mods will be available to show the host the player's boosts, and lobby restrictions will be applied. It will be like before, except there will be further criteria for kicking, and further fragmentation of the playerbase.

I think you worry way too much.
Besides, 10% extra health or armor doesn't change the game much at all at the higher difficulties, stats that would do that would be dodge and armor regeneration rate.
Even then, we don't know what the continential boosts will be.
Weapon boosts are a whole other story though...

I guess I should have made it clearer that I'm over-exaggerating as a joke, unfunny as it is.
Then again from what I've seen with how completely anal some people can get with their NGBTO/DW settings it wouldn't surprise me if someone would do something stupid like that.

The other thing is, the argument for not making changes to the game is that "Players are dickheads." That's not really something the developer can do anything about, and not really something they need to consider. Might as well not make any multiplayer game ever then, if your excuse is "Well, players are dickheads."
I haven't encountered a single host that gave a shit about what stat boosts people had

Dodge is one of the examples they provided. A separate, stacked bonus percentage to armor makes a tremendous difference for berserk/anarchist based builds. These are the sort of things they're failing to take into consideration.
Maybe if the mod sites would grow some balls and remove shit like NGBTO(which ironically kicks on overkill now) we wouldn't have to worry about this.

it would help, but its too late because any removal of NGBTO will just involve peopel reuploading NGBTO or sending/using it privately, its still going to exist. it will help though but i dont think itll be gone for awhile
i use NGBTO, but only for the hours viewer, and anti cheat or whateves. i dont really use the hour kicking system

It's removal from a publically accessible website will make it less common still
It might not stop it, but it could possibly lower it's general amount of use
i don't use NGBTO because the people who use it seem to be the stuck-up asshole type who can't be assed to manually kick people from their games. (also because i don't really host games. singleplayer IMO outside of TWAT turrets and no Captain Krutch is better. you actually have to pay some figment of attention to succeed on OVERKILL and above because you don't have 3 other teammates with inspire to save you all the time.)
hell, dussel has a reason for kicking you that says "you have 500 hours and you still suck." no really. he has a site for rules for playing when he's hosting.
as for the "infamy boosts" well we can wait for them to come out to see how problematic they could be. (or they could be completely useless. but knowing OVERKILL their balance works like this: either completely useless or completely overpowered. no middle ground.) if they're completely overpowered then everyone who has like 10 million coins from framing shithouse raid will max that shit out and become a one man army. and that's no good.
if they're useless then no one will really use them. but i doubt that'll be the case.
Would anyone happen to have a way to hide barrel extension mods but keep the existing default ones
Things like the AK rifle and SVD have default compensators that completely vanish with that mod, making them look weird
NGBTO tries to solve the problem of inexperienced players jumping into higher difficulties they're unprepared for.
It does not. It makes it worse.
Without getting their asses kicked because they're a low-level on Mayhem, how are they supposed to learn? The thing about learning the hard way is that it's a very effective way.
What is your opinion on the Scarface Character DLC pack, fellas? I'm considering buying that dlc instead of the John Wick weapons or Cage Russian - Spec Ops pack.
Perk deck is meh weapon doesn't have enough ammo
There's a Steam guide called the Scarface build or whatever that's a Grinder dodge build with the rifle + Fully Loaded, really fun to play and ammo is rarely a problem (probably not for Mayhem+ though)
There's probably better guns to use for said build though I'd wager
[editline]27th March 2017[/editline]
I liked the gun but I think making it dmr statistically was a huge mistake. Full auto depletes way too fast, and the scarface spirit makes me wanna spray

It really blows that it doesn't have any unique mods at all.
Remember Gewehr 3? How it had assault kit and DMR kit and shit like that?
Why is actually interesting stuff like that forgotten?

It's Tony fucking Montana.
TONY. FUCKING. MONTANA.
I actually got kicked by NGBTO today, on Overkill.
For bringing ICTV.
Someone really hates armor builds.

Perk deck works great with heavy armor builds, and the Little Friend is pretty good, though don't be fooled:
It may be a DMR rifle with a grenade launcher on it, but the grenade launcher is the more worthwhile part of the weapon.
Mixing it with a high ammo and fire rate SMG secondary usually works very well.
Currently loving a build with the perk deck and armor skills, the rifle and the SMG from the Russian pack.
Oh, and for Scarface himself, it sounds a good bit like him (Same VA from the official Scarface game from '06) and his voicelines aren't bad.

I've also seen new players at like level 30 play Deathwish and surprisingly hold their own fairly well.
However, it'll never get removed because the fine high quality moderators of Last Bullet/Mod Workshop use it themselves and refuse to talk about getting rid of it or the negative impact it has on the game.
I actually used it back in the day, for Deathwish.
Because after 100th Hitman player with 35 points in Mastermind only and without any armor you just don't want to explain to them that they're unfit for DW, only to get "cmon i am not noob" or "ПО РУСКИ ГОВОРИ ПИНДОСИНА" while you know they won't survive even the first 10 seconds of assault wave.

Tried a new aiming position, vanilla LMG style.
How's it look?
Top is standard view, bottom is "ironsight" view.
I have an important update: one of the hats in the Russian pack is the best customization object in the game. It's basically a head billboard.

chavez can drop his keys more then once in PD2 PR.

but i didn't see what caused it. my best guess is he died to a bullet and then an explosion from a grenade right after. making the game spawn a second pair of chavez' keys. further testing is needed to see if killing him with 3 different damage types at the same time will make the game spawn 3 pairs of chavez' keys.
Level 0 on Overkill is quite entertaining.
And then you get Body Expertise and the Scar battle rifle.
