I just heard a leak for (MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR HEAT STREET)[sp]mat getting his hand cut off and him screaming.[/sp] GJ OVK.
[t]http://www.overkillsoftware.com/ovk-media/redux/glacier/jpn-day8-off.png[/t] is that a ballistic shield
needs to be a secondary replacement that actually blocks bullets, and be able to switch between it and your melee for silly melee builds. bonus points if its paired with an smg that you can blind fire from behind it just like the shield units.
I really hope Nikolas Pascal gets one of his OC heisters into the game, that'd be fuckin' incredible.
I just heard a leak for (MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR HEAT STREET)[sp]mat getting his hand cut off and him screaming.[/sp] GJ OVK.
Well, it would make sense. [sp]We actually have a saw now, assuming that's how it's done in the first place.[/sp]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/F0JeYWb.png[/t] They literally took a picture of Heat Street from PDTH and ran it through a filter. You can see "At Jake's Parking" on the top.
overkill's not good at addition it seems [t]https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/96106427718628661/0BE3AB598875DD6BE989FEB705BCBE55F2A965CA/[/t] it went from 0% to -1%. A++ math
Are those community challenges a joke or something? Or are they really meant to be that high?
Are those community challenges a joke or something? Or are they really meant to be that high?
nope. they're that high i guess they assume a group of 4 potatos can consistantly get a crew killcount total of 1000> on OVERKILL and above / farm OVERDRILL/Hoxout or farm murky station on normal.
here's Double Cross 2017, one of the best remixes in my opinion
Please for the love of God ovk I know its a lot of work but please Can we get the soundtrack updated
Is it safe to say that Overkill has mostly given up on trying to hide things in their data? I seem to remember an implication that they would deliberately leave hints of certain things for people known to explore the games innards, and that not all of it is unintentional, but maybe that was just a joke. I have to wonder. If we had the people we do now exploring Payday 2 in and out, but for Payday: The Heist back when it was nearing the end of its life, would the 'secret' have been found much faster? I remember being under the impression that it was fairly well-hidden internally.
ZDann, when you fish up those stream files, can you hook me up with a copy so's I can get MP3s going?
Doesn't matter, I'll put a classic theme on this one [editline]3rd April 2017[/editline]
Is it safe to say that Overkill has mostly given up on trying to hide things in their data? I remember being under the impression that it was fairly well-hidden internally.
Back then there were no map editors, almost nothing. Only an LUA injector + file unpacker. Secret masks were found relatively fast, but the coding for Secret itself was in map coding, so, no.
Is it safe to say that Overkill has mostly given up on trying to hide things in their data?
They haven't, it just seems like audio/textures/models are harder to stop from leaking for whatever reason. Code related leaks are usually minor, and they've done a good job at hiding new weapons for the most part. They aren't doing it intentionally either.
ZDann, when you fish up those stream files, can you hook me up with a copy so's I can get MP3s going?
For various reasons I can't do that now, sorry.
In all fairness, I meant when that shit's actually out.
double cross 2017 kinda doesn't feel like it's a remix of double cross at all to me. well it does in a few parts during anticipation and assault but the rest of it feels like an entirely different track to me. this is the "PAYDAY: The Heist soundtrack" version of Double Cross. this is the in-game version of Double Cross. IMO when they annouce the remake of diamond heist (if that ever happens) Breach of Security 2017 should be based off of the soundtrack version. it's better then the in-game version (because half of the assault part isn't the same 4 second loop over and over. well it is but simon at least tried to make it feel different.)

It borrows some parts from it from what i remember
Isn't Breach 2015 already based on the OST version? It borrows some parts from it from what i remember
it does borrow one part at the 2:19 mark of the assault phase of the OST track (and it's the only part that uses the "alarm/siren" part of the original breach of security's assault phase. and a few seconds leading up to the 2:19 mark on breach 2015 borrows from original breach's anticipation phase. the rest of it is more-or-less the in-game version of breach's assault phase sans the siren at the early part.)
The #MyHeister thing seems interesting. People on Reddit are trying to resurrect the ex-dozer concept, and honestly people might have some good ideas. My personal vote is still for L4D Nick but since we can't use copyrighted stuff that's not gonna work. Anyone have any ideas?
my friend was coming up with a stereotypical gay character to fit in with all of our other stereotypes the tentative name is cpt. bussy
We need a french or italian bloke, if only so he can have a masquerade mask.
We need a french or italian bloke, if only so he can have a masquerade mask.
I like the idea of Italian, maybe a mix of a mobster with the masquerade stuff would be interesting.
I want a welding mask, too.
The idea of maybe an Ex-Poacher or something would be interesting. Maybe his name could be Murdoch or something.
Please let me have my hosehead heister already There are so few Canadian characters in video games LET ME HAVE THIS [editline]3rd April 2017[/editline] Oh no scratch that I won't be able to sleep until I get a smooth talking French Canadian hejster
