I thought the Thanatos was already ruled out? I seem to remember it was still inconvenient to use even prior to the difficulty tweaks.
But in general, I think sniper rifles are a mess. It all started to go downhill for me when they made the tiers of sniper rifle so prominent, and uniform in damage. It makes it so that you'll basically only choose the rifle in each tier that fires the fastest, but also has a good magazine capacity. Reload speed doesn't matter so much anymore because of that one skill that boosts it after a head shot, so anything that fires fast is automatically better already.
Sniper rifles seem like something that should have much more unique stats than just put into a light/medium/heavy tier like Overkill did. I'm sure it makes things simpler for them, but it doesn't make for much wiggle room in terms of what's most efficient, and it kills a lot of sniper rifles because they might be slow-firing, or have pitiful magazine sizes.

you can also softlock undercover in PDTH except this time it's "different" in that it can also softlock the escape trigger

i "think" DorHUD fixes this. if it doesn't well that's news to me
and the circuit box on the roof at the right staircase went out twice 3 seconds after i turned it back on twice. so i think it's also why the same "progress prevention" glitch is in PD2 undercover
So what weapom overhaul is updated and is good to use?
Man, it's been a hot second since I actually went back and played The Heist. I forgot that clearing the roof is actually fairly tough.

You can even equip a Theia scope if you don't mind being bumped up to 6 detection risk, which isn't so bad if you're planning on being a spotter on a map like Shadow Raid.

So not only is the Contractor .308 a direct upgrade to the Lebensauger, it also puts the Desert Fox out of business as a crit-dodge sniper.

It's actually not as bad as it sounds, especially since I tried to make moving civs easier. Faster movement/easier pathfinding.

I interpreted it as a reference to the goons from the first movie that killed his dog. We don't know what these two did but it's heavily implied they abused/killed a dog and Wick wants to pay them back for it.
"Saint Francis" (the achievement name) was the Patron Saint of Ecology and renowned for his love of animals, and the icon has a dog on it.

most people will probably panic and shoot a gl40 round at the dozer but don't. bait him away from the CFO so you don't [highlight]Kill him[/highlight] and fail the heist. (yes. you can KILL escorts in OVERKILL 193+.)
i haven't managed to last long enough to see what happens when you get ralph over to the helipad or when the vault opens, but i suspect it's a vault ambush (but this time the cops are hidden and waiting, no trucks in sight)
i also had the "cop bug" turned on (it gives dozers on 193+ enough health to survive 2 tripmine explosions [so i'd assume dozers have around 2500-3500 HP with this "feature" enabled] AND makes cops' speed more faster.)
I wish there were better 'on armor break' skills.
